Hi everyone, Reaching out to get pointers about technical schools where one can get masons/ home builders to employ. Either Government owned or Private (Government approved). The goal is to work with the Schools to have a pipeline of technical school to construction site jobs. This is pretty much at an infant stage. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately None. I know Nigerians. Anyone that through such training will crookedly elevate himself to the title of engineer. Seek his own contracts and fully handle building projects. Even people who did not get any formal training do so, let alone someone who went for some formal training.

Check out any Federal science and technical college (FSTC ) they are about 18 in the country.

Though FSTC Yaba is the most equipped of them all (they spoilt the college with politics and introduction of science education) (qualifications here is nabteb)
A lot of people going to this school now are very young people , when I mean young, small children compared to what we had back in the days.

Check also federal college of education (technical)Akoka yaba (NCE).

I think the polystyrene should be cost effective. I have just installed POP on an approximately 80sqm space, it cost me 30 bags Pop cement, 42kg fillers, 3kg binding wire, and other materials like soaps, groundnut oil, nails. Was charged #1,300/sqm for labour for simple designs. Check the costs of all these and compare with the polystyrene quotation you got.
