You're joking right?

Opportunity cost, devaluation/inflation.

When it comes to this OANDO conversation I am amazed that people are still looking at this company. Then again I have seen people looking for ponzi schemes to invest in; with the hope they will cash out before the rig is pulled

Have faith

Haha!! In as much as this is a competitive sport; once in a while it is ok to help someone from making an obvious mistake. This is especially true when one has no skin in the game either way of their decision.

If he listens to your advice and he stopped buying but the stock starts reversing, how matter go be?

We don't want monkey hunting oooooo,

Aradel that is going down non stop, less is see where it will be in 3 years time Sha.

I am planning to increase my holdings from the proceede of my sale of Guinness and Nigeria Brewery. I now want to be an ethical investor, I don't want to own stocks of companies that make alcoholic beverages again.

I have been eyeing Guinness for a while but this concern about the purchasing power of Nigerians now on beverages and co. I always look at the demand.......

Result couldn't help, Interim Dividend couldn't help, unless there is a major big news to drive sentiment in favour of the stock, the real fall of Aradel still dey do press up.
as far as the company have good management that can consistently deliver it won't even matter to investors. I don't bother myself about companies like them.

@Prophet, no need to use unnecessary, unprovoked derogatory words on our colleagues on this platform. Just deliver your message in good conscience and those who align with you would welcome and appreciate it. You don't need to banter anyone. Oando (and other stocks) belong to all of us, especially those who have invested in it. Even the larger public should have an opinion, because it is a public company.

The sector is currently bleeding from Guinness to Nigeria Brewery to International Brewery.

Main reason why I sold the remaining shares I have in that sector yesterday

V shaped reversals are very rare. Only time I think I have seen it was in the US market during the pandemic.

There will be consolidation at the bottom

Did you see the way they've been taunting him in contrast to how people have been gracious to those who promoted Aradel here and those who have sheepishly followed those promoters to buy Aradel?

He should not bother about such taunts. Many more have praised him for being consistent and steadfast even when Oando was at its lowest. He should just minimize his ''attacks''. It could degenerate.
He should also remember that he carries the name or tag of ''Prophet'', even if the ''anointing'' only works for Oando grin.
At least, he should lead us (Oando Israelites) to the promise land with good example. grin

I am in alignment with your position but the psychological profile of every investor ain't the same and that's why I refrain from such Catch 22 situations.
