You can't expect me to sell a car I bought for 1.5m years ago for the same amount in this present nigeria. Mind you, this is 2014 Toyota avensis and the market price for Nigerian used is about 7.5m

I still don't know why this Avensis and Avalon don't have 2nd hand value in Nigeria because a 2014 Nigerian used Toyota car in Nigeria now should be going for at least 9million above.

It's because of the common belief in Nigeria that Corolla and camry are the best. And our mechanics are not helping matters

I think Nigerians have a better understanding of Camry and Corolla and are also durable, besides this is SA spec and may have been converted from LHD to RHD

It's not about conversion from RHD to LHD because I speak from experience, even in the US, Avalon have low second hand value compared to Camry, and I know a friend that sold his Avensis like this at a give away price in 2021.

But other versions of Toyota cars that are not Camry and Corolla have better second hand value than the two models I mentioned.
