Why Are Nigerians So Religious But Corrupt? / Global Study: Atheists In Massive Decline, Only 1.8% Of World Population By 2020 / Atheists And Morality. A Question! (2) (3) (4)
Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by Vinnie2000(m): 5:19am On Nov 10 |
With the way Nigerians slammed Mrs Remi Tinibu and PFN body on their Prayer solution for the Country's problems, It is now clear most of us are getting Less Religious. I was very shocked when I read a story of a Lady (A Hardship frustrated Christian) on Opera news. She said 'God does NOT Have a Say in Human affairs. Everything you get is just by Chance and Luck'. So I ask *Is TINIBU AND HIS HORRIBLE POLICIES CAUSING NIGERIANS TO BECOME ATHEISTS? Or Most are just naturally tired of being Christians or ChurchGoers?🤨 Drop your comments. Nplfmod. 2 Likes |

Vinnie2000: They may not be atheists but they are realizing that prayer is not the magic wand it has been portrayed to be. 10 Likes |

Vinnie2000:There is a growing Nigerian population who are becoming wise. Unlike their parents who fell victim of ideologies originated from religious myths she researched the bible to discover this truth. She is absolutely right. Unlike our parents who never bothered to research but accept everything that comes out of the mouth of pastors researching the truth does not mean that you are an atheist. Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. What is happening to Nigeria today is not something new in the history of mankind. There is nothing like this government will favor me and my house alone. We all face the consequences of choosing the wrong leader equally. All the testimonies you see in churches that pastor prayed for me and i get favour and miracles, are all fake. The truth is that, luck visits everyone randomly at it time . But first, you must position yourself where the luck will meet you 8 Likes |

paxonel: You've said it all. People are becoming wiser by the day, no more sakamanje, dey want to see evidence. Me, have stopped going to church, I still believe in God, but I won't let those fleecing pastors fool me. If prayers really build a nation as those pastors make people believe, Nigeria would have become eldorado. My anger is that these pastors go to developed countries and see that those nations were built by conscious and synergetic effort of both leaders and the people, but they come here and say pray for Nigeria. Pathetic! 6 Likes |

Sometimes you just have to be a realist, everything shouldn't be about religion. The west and Arab who introduced the religions(Islam and Christianity) to us don't pray to God to fix their country, they hold their leaders accountable. 4 Likes |

LordReed: True. But the comment of the Lady shocked me, that 'God has NO influence in the affairs of humans and anything you get in life is by luck'. This statement from a Christian (frustrated by Tinibu's bad govt) is a Drift to ATHEISM. 2 Likes |

Questioning Christianity doesn't make one atheist. Theism is the opposite of Atheism, not Christianity. It also speaks to the quality of intellectual thought within the Nigerian Christian community where simply "doubting" or "questioning" can cast one as an outcast. It adds more evidence to my conclusion that Nigerian Christianity is mostly a cult. It encourages blind followership and personality worship. May we be free from the curse of the middl eastern religions. You are eating spiritual food that was never meant for you.. and it has poisoned you deeply. 4 Likes |

In these last days perilous (hard) times truly has come and many are really turning away from Christianity. See this thing called finances eh, any Christian that takes it so casually would find himself paying dearly for it. Don't be fooled, mammon is so powerful that Jesus said you can't serve God and mammon because in the pursuit of money to help yourself and your family, you will engage yourself in things that God abhors. Even if you don't have the mind to do evil, when you serve God as a civil servant for 35 years and you can't even build a house for yourself, do you really think your children will join you to serve that God? I truly believe that the seat of Satan himself is in the economy. Manipulate the economy enough to make Christians suffer and you just wait for them, they will turn turn back to Egypt. 2 Likes |

Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by LordReed(m): 9:17am On Nov 10 |
Vinnie2000: I agree, it might be a drift towards realizing the Abrahamic god is a middle eastern myth just like Sango is a Yoruba myth. |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by LordReed(m): 9:20am On Nov 10 |
Dtruthspeaker: But it is a different type of juju practice. You Christians drink blood and eat flesh. |

paxonel: Bros, the lady did NOT research any Bible. Her comments were borne out of frustrations with the Economic realities set upon by the current FG govt. In her Original story, She got a Job Offer years ago, rejected it based on tight church schedule. Now HUNGER based on Tinibu's Inflation is Killing her, she is now Praying for such a Job and It has not been answered yet. |

Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by paxonel(m): 11:02am On Nov 10 |
Vinnie2000:Bros, how do you know? And i quoted a scripture she probably must have read to warrant her saying that Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Still the same thing we are saying. If the righteous was in power of authority her prayer would probably be answered by now. When you travel to well organised societies people don't pray to get job. People don't pray to get portable water People don't pray to get electricity, good roads and quality housing. Infact, people don't even care to go to church talkess of being religious. Yet, they practice this Christianity more than us 2 Likes |

Any one who denies Christ or becomes an Atheist, was never a Christian in this first place. As a Christian, you should know in the last days, dangerous times will come, and it remaineth that the Christian put on the whole armour of Christ to stand in the evil day. 2 Likes |

Jokerman:Fellow Christians, hope you have heard from this Joker. It doesn't matter what you do, or have done..the day you deny us, that all goes away. It's only your belief that makes us treat you well.. the day you lose or doubt or question it, you will lose all our goodwill. We will cast you away, far far away. Jokerman:Yes, as a Christian, expect suffering and trials and tribulations. Pretend to be a soldier |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by Vinnie2000(m): 12:10pm On Nov 10 |
Jokerman: The lady I referred to was and is Still a Christian. But the HUNGER and frustations now on ground caused by Tinibu made her to make that statement. All the Pple that Dismissed Mrs Remi Tinibu and PFN's Prayer suggestions, Will you now say they were not christians in the 1st place |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by Dtruthspeaker: 1:07pm On Nov 10 |
LordReed: Typical of Satan incarnate to Lie by twisting facts! Thank God the whole world sees that no Christian practices juju nor drinks blood and eats flesh beyond that everyone in the world has called food and wine and not juju. |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by Dtruthspeaker: 1:09pm On Nov 10 |
Vinnie2000: You yourself know that a person saying "im American" does not make them American. Same for those who call themselves Christians. |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by Dtruthspeaker: 1:16pm On Nov 10 |
HappyPagan: Go.find yourself another ax to grind for there is nothing here. Not one of you will call an employee or wife who abandons ship when it is bad a good and faithful person. It is always the people who stood with us through trials and temptations and hardships we call friends, not those who are only there when the going is good. The very description of fair weather friends |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by LordReed(m): 2:17pm On Nov 10 |
Dtruthspeaker: Is communion not the blood and flesh of Jesus? Also what is the difference between prophecy and divination? What is the difference between incantation and prayer? There all the same thing called by different names. |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by Vinnie2000(m): 3:16pm On Nov 10 |
LordReed: Bro, God is NOT a myth. Just like you cannot explain some Natural phenomenon like Bermuda triangle, existence of the sun,etc Dat's how you cannot fully understand his Personality, Ways and actions. 1 Like |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by LordReed(m): 5:24pm On Nov 10 |
Vinnie2000: There is nothing like Bermuda Triangle, that's just another myth. The existence of the sun can be explained. The Abrahamic god is a myth, none of the things that are attributed to the god cannot be evidenced, just like Sango. |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by Dtruthspeaker: 5:56pm On Nov 10 |
LordReed: 1) Exactly how we say i never swallow my physics textbook when we were preparing for ssce those days. 2) Divination has to do with conjuring and stimulation. Prophecies come naturally without any provocation or participation by the prophesyer. 3) Incantation is the same as divination and the bible condemns it. Which is why Catholics are not Christians but mordernized witchcraft and juju things. Prayer is simply "a solemn request for help or an expression of gratitude and a meansof of communication.addressed to a Person. |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by LordReed(m): 6:02pm On Nov 10 |
Dtruthspeaker: Nope. Divination is seeking knowledge beyond human capacity by using certain means, the same with prophecy. Elijah bowed himself in prayer to get a prophecy. Elisha asked musicians to play to get a prophecy. Saul was moved by music and began to prophesy. There is no difference. Incantation is the speaking of words to invoke the spirits for aid, same with prayer. Again, no difference. |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by Dtruthspeaker: 6:02pm On Nov 10 |
LordReed: There is no other evidence needed to be given in Proof of God besides the fact that no thing in this world we know, created itself exactly how the Toyota Camry did not know build itself, so you are talking rubbish. |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by LordReed(m): 6:10pm On Nov 10 |
Dtruthspeaker: Says the one saying nonsense. |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by Dtruthspeaker: 6:19pm On Nov 10 |
LordReed: See how you are Lie, Satan. Your redefinition of divination and is very the meaning of conjuring. And you have seen the meaning of Prayer which is "a solemn request for help which you see in Elisha. And thank God you confess the Truth that Elijah was "praying" when a prophecy was "given to him". Not him trying to take it by his will and force which is witchcraft and conjuring and incantation, as the witch did to Samuel's spirit. So you Lie, Satan's prophet! |
Re: Hardship: Are Nigerians Now Becoming Atheists? by Dtruthspeaker: 6:27pm On Nov 10 |
LordReed: Says the devil incarnate now deflecting and saying "nonsense" because he sees he still cannot counter this, even after all these past years, since 2019. |
