We are not creating enough. With the high line, we re supposed to create overloads in attack to compensate for the gaps we leave at the other end. But we aren't and Sociedad are absolutely running through our defence at will.

Wonderful game plan from imanol sociedad's coach, he really confirmed us to having less shots on target, this should also be a wake up call for us though that the journey is still ahead

You no see as them focus on Kounde throughout the match. Them know say nobody dey pressure them.

Fermin just left his duty and kept fighting for #10 role of competing with Lewandowski for striker position. Dude just off today. Guess its time Pablo Torre moves up the pecking order.

For the rotational winger.... Means its best we start grooming Pau Victor for that position to free either Yamal or Raph. Or we alternatively use Olmo on the left.

Yes I confirmed it today. Ansu Fati is no longer at the level but today's game, most of our players couldn't bring their top game.

Raphinha was falling all over the place. Couldn't get anything going.

Olmo looked like someone who's pucked all night. Clearly not looking match fit.

That's surprising for a free-scoring Barcelona side. But Real Sociedad can be very tenacious at home. Their first win at home since we broke the Anoeta curse.

Seems true.
Looks like Flick has a problem with accurately sizing La Liga teams up.

Real Sociedad have never been an easy win these last few years. Even when we clearly beat them they still showed signs of dangers.

Anyways, we move. Hope Flick learns and remove that useless De Jong redemption arc he's seeking.
The dude is WASHED. And needs to be sold or dashed for free.

Speaking of daa devil,Sociedad has finally solved that our offside trap and you can see them running through... this is where we need pace of defenders but so far only Cubarsi has impressed in that respect.

So true.
Real Sociedad timed most of their runs well. There was like 3 runs I saw where they perfectly beat our offside trap and looked very threatening.
The match really showed Araujo's pacy qualities.

Cubarsi held himself well like you said.
I still don't know when Szcesny is going to take over matches now. We need a shot stopped who you can bank on when things turns to shït— during those clutch moments.

It's worrying that it takes Lamine Yamal out for our offensive quality to drop so much.

But I also think Dani Olmo wasn't very fit. He was all over the place with his final ball.
