Unanswerable Crucifixion Tales 6 - What Is Jesus’ Last Words? by AntiChristian: 5:14pm On Nov 12, 2024 |
Jesus’ Last Words 1. Jesus’ last words before dying are important, but no one seems to have written them down. 2. Mark 15:34-37, Matthew 27:46-50 - Jesus says: “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (but they use different Greek words for “God”— Matthew uses “Eli, is” and Mark uses “Eloi”) 3. Luke 23:46 - Jesus says: “Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit.” 4. John 19:30 - Jesus says: “It is finished.” The three options are as follows: A. Eli Eli (or Eloi, Eloi) lama Sabachthani! B. Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit! C. It is finished! So what is Jesus's last words? 1 Like |

AntiChristian: Whether Jesus said Eli or Eloi is irrelevant! Both means 'God.' The Gospels complement each other, so Jesus' last words were: "It is Finished! Father, into thy hands I commit my Spirit." |

AntiChristian:Simple common sense should tell you spelling and pronunciation differs. And when history is to be written, there is possibility of writings and pronunciation difference. All ya arguments on this site are based on you picking petty reasons to discredit the word of Allah tomthe extent you're not allowing ya brain to function and see that Eloi or Eli in that context was subjected to different witness, writers, etc. In ya present day, Mohammad is spelt Mohammed, Mahomet etc. Some ll use single m, double m. Now let's give you an assignment. What were Mohammed's last word? 1 Like

AntiChristian: Others will respond to you according to their levels of knowledge. But as someone who has studied the Bible from cover to cover countless times, I have given you my findings. The Gospel are complementary. No single Gospel covers every detail of Jesus' life. Even the four gospels together did not cover all the details of Jesus life. To have more details about any event, you need to read all 4 gospels and fill in the gaps. All what Jesus did in life and on the cross were in sequence. The sequences are scattered all over the 4 Gospels. |

GothamCities: Which one is level of knowledge again? Is knowledge judged by level or by holy spirit? When even the last words of Jesus is contested amongst the gospels. You're really amazing! Before Jesus's death he said all these as his last words: Eli Eli lama sabachthani Eloi Eloi lema Sabachthani Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit. It is finished. Can you help arrange the sequence he said all these? The sequence doesn't matter! The sequence doesn't save! Bla nla! More like a last paragraph/sentences not words! 1 Like |

Padipadi:Muhammad's last words to Muslims: "Hold onto what you believe and keep praying for Allah can do whatever he likes to anyone" So whether a Muslim chooses to be faithful or not Allah doesn't care he may throw such one into hellfire and throw a criminal to heaven it's nobody's concern to decide for Allah. That's why i left Islam because compared to what Jesus said: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things." Matthew 28:18-20 From the above statement it's clear that Jesus is just too sure of what he commissioned: Christianity! 1 Like |

AntiChristian:Are you kidding me? Someone who does not read the Bible cannot be as knowledgeable concerning it as someone who is an avid student of the Bible! Before Jesus's death he said all these as his last words:Same word written in different pronunciation. What's your problem with that? If I tell you 'God' in Yoruba, and you go out to write that I said Ọlọrun or Olohun, which of them is a lie!? It's obvious you're just trying to force blames on the Bible. Very obvious! Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit.Jesus said more than that on the cross. Those are not His only Words. These are what some of His disciples remembered and have written down! If you have good logic, you'll know the sequence yourself. I have provided the sequence in a previous response. I won't reoeat myself to someone who is just a deliberate enemy of himself. More like a last paragraph/sentences not words!Done in a previous post! Go read it again! |

Padipadi:It's OK, my friend is trying really hard to find out why his people chose Islam that's why he's always seeking validation for the religion that was handed over to him by his parents but he doesn't know how to go about it. |

MaxInDHouse: Lol. You might be correct. Antichristian is looking for validation for his Islam because he himself doesn't know why his parents handed him the religion. |

GothamCities:Jesus said: A good man brings good out of the good treasure of his heart, but a wicked man brings what is wicked out of his wicked treasure; for out of the heart’s abundance his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45 So going by what God's prophet said regarding the last days {Malachi 3:16} anyone who wants to talk about faith in God will always look for a way to engage others but then it all depends on the heart condition of each person. |

Re: Unanswerable Crucifixion Tales 6 - What Is Jesus’ Last Words? by GothamCities: 11:27am On Nov 13, 2024 |
AntiChristian: Did I mention that in all my posts about the Bible? Someone was telling you why you're acting so desperate to disparage the Bible, and I commented that he might be correct. You came to ask an unrelated question about you mentioning Islam here. Then turn around to ask if the region or Monika vexed me when I was only answering your question. |
Re: Unanswerable Crucifixion Tales 6 - What Is Jesus’ Last Words? by GothamCities: 11:33am On Nov 13, 2024 |
sonmvayina: Nobody has seen any contradiction and misinformation. All the lies of the OP has been debunked. Your lies too will be debunked as they were debunked in your previous interactions with me. Hey, I cast out devils in the name of Jesus and I bind the demons whom you pagans worship. Witches tremble at my presence and cannot stand the word of God when I utter it out with fire. How then does ifa stand superior to the Bible when the same ifa tells you to appease witches and demons whom I bind with my words from the Living Scriptures? |

GothamCities: sonmvayina, no mind am o! He was not able to debunk any lie! What he does is to merge all the Gospels together and call them all the truth! If i ask him this below How did Judas die? His response will be that the two narrations happened to Judas and was reported differently whereas the two are unrelated! 1 Like 1 Share |

AntiChristian: You need to even unite with sonmavyina, a pagan to disparage the Bible. You're a pagan too anyway, you're just disguising. This makes me remember how witches in the USA and Muslims around the world united together to enthrone Kamala Harris against the Choice of Christians. Muslims prayed. Witches cast their spells. Christians prayed, and Trump won. You and witches and all the pagans of this world can unite, the Word of God will still stand. The things you wrote up there do not matter to Christianity. Whether Judas bought a field or he cast out the money, our salvation does not depend on it. However, there's a prophecy regarding Judas, and a careful look at Matthew's account explicitly fulfills that prophecy. Hence, if you are desirous of knowing exactly what happened in that story, go for Mathew s account. If God was to write the Bible by Himself, there'll be only one account. But since God used many men, you can compare between what they wrote to find exactly what happened. Judas bought the field with the proceeds of wickedness, not from what he made by betraying Jesus but from what he made by various wickedness which he had wrought, for he was known to be a thief. |

GothamCities:Which kind nonsense be all this? Didn't Christians pray for Obi here too? Did he win? It just shows how far you can go to spread falsehood! Truth is truth no matter how much you overlook it. Even if a pagan states the truth i will affirm the truth and stand by it. The things you wrote up there do not matter to Christianity. Whether Judas bought a field or he cast out the money, our salvation does not depend on it.I never said it matters! What i am saying is that at least one or more reports is erroneous and false! However, there's a prophecy regarding Judas, and a careful look at Matthew's account explicitly fulfills that prophecy. Hence, if you are desirous of knowing exactly what happened in that story, go for Mathew s account. So how did Judas die exactly? If God were to write the Bible by Himself...? Didn't you say the Holy Spirit was involved? Is that not God? |
