It is a multidisciplinary team work where we apply the biopsychsocial treatment model.

The Psychiatrists, mental health nurses handle the bio side of the treatment and I come in as the therapist for the psycho side. When patients refuse to take their medications, I sit down with patients to explore and process why they refuse medication and they tend to get violent but I know how to get them calm with some techniques and eventually get them to continue their medications.

I also did work with convicted prisoners in the psychiatric facility, those who committed crimes and assessed to be mentally unstable and can't be in regular prisons. Prisoners who will spend their entire lives there as they are necrophiles (love having sex with corpses), pyromaniacs, cannibals etc.

You just got me curious, you know when it comes to you medical practitioners, I always get curious...
