What happens to appointing a finance expert with a solid educational background and experience in finance or accounting as commissioner for finance.

What happens to appointing someone who has a strong background, experience and certification in EDUCATION to head SUBEB.

When dull people handle power, they keep wasting resources to fit square pegs in round holes.
This is why their will never be any significant progress in this country as long as we prioritize political compensation over competence.

Even a private organization will not employ an engineer to head its finance department. This is totally unreasonable.

Keep quiet if you have nothing to say. Subeb is used to settle politicians. The finance commissioner only did engineering in his first degree. He is a banker of 25 years,a regional bank manager. Did you bother to read his cv

Why didn't obaseki, the fomer governor provide all of those things? My friend get lost snd double your hustle, obaseki double his hustle and he became governor, he cashed out and today people say he's a saint without blemish, this new guy has doubled his hustle and he's now governor, double your hustle and reduce your expectations, this is Nigeria, no governor or president is coming to save you, na hustle everybody dey, even the people promising heaven and earth are still hustlers eg Peter obi and Atiku

The problem is that, most of you don’t bother to do a little research before commenting on issues. That Engineer happens to have a 25 year working experience in the banking sector and was until this appointment, a Regional Manager with UBA in charge of 2 States. If such a person is not qualified to be the finance minister, then I wonder who is!

Neither the immediate Past SUBEB Chairman nor Commissioner for Education under Obaseki was an educationist…. And I didn’t hear you complain of square pegs in round holes
