Cats are intelligent. They can open your window from outside and enter your house after they've observed you for long how you open the window from outside.

I used to have 4 cats plus 2 other intruders that knew how to open my window.

Most likely a stray cat. However, two extremes are also dangerous. If there was no way the cat could have gotten in to his apartment through doors or windows, then it could also be a spiritual cat.

I remembered waking up beside a very large but dead scorpion with no part mangled just days before i left Nigeria, there are spiritual forces and attacks. Those kind of attacks are more likely where poverty is prevalent and resources are few. To say that spiritual attacks cant come through certain animals is taking it too far.
