80 sir? I am positive that is understatement. If the hint that sunrise gave comes to past. I believe 120 should be more fair. The acquirer paid equivalent of 130 something for a similar coy in a market that is not as big as Nigeria and a company that is not debt free as Wapco.

I am always very conservative with my forecasts

Still no details on my end to be honest. Either Majority shareholder being bought out or full acquisition. But it’s clear now that this was the information driving the attention

Very likely if the emergency meeting is a positive one. The outcome of the meeting will either spur further upward or downward share price movement.

.Hope the delisting is not happening. I don't want my wapco to go even at #200. I want the gradual increase of dividend now that is guaranteed. This is a stock I was projecting 8 figure dividend in the future. Why are all this better companies trying to delist leaving all this jijo stock

I swear a ₦200/share is not even worth the delisting. Wapco is one great stock to hold.

I doubt if they will be calling for an EM and also closing the register if its just the Majority shareholding that is being bought. But only time will tell.
250 is my prayer. Make the blessings of this year complete.

CP being unsecured means it has a CALL FEATURE. It also has underwriting feature. This is where FMDQ comes in.

If for example you buy a CP at 30% interest. If half way through the tenor, MPR rates have dropped significantly, the issuer of the unsecured instrument can call it and pay everyone by prorating. This will enable them access the market for cheaper loan.

The defaults painted are over exaggerated, I will like to have a history of defaulted CP programmed in Nigeria since mungo Park

You think if it's just the way you make it sound, subscribers will go close. What is the regulations Carrie out by SEC and CBN.
Oga you are wrong. It is called unsecured instruments because of the risk associated as per default. This is why pension regulators have stopped pension managers from buying into it going forward. Oga I have banking/finance in my brain...lol.It is only backed by Issuer words which is not guaranteed .That is why Tbill is termed as secured. Sec and cbn does not have insurance cover on the instrument

Oga you don't need to do research on what unsecured commercial paper means.A minute of search on ur phnom can give result. That issuer can terminate the contract before maturity is not reason why it is termed as unsecur...that is the French I am speaking. It is unsecured because it is not backed by any collateral/guaranteed.The risk of default exists because it is backed by the word of the issuer..chikana

On the CP discuss.
I tried to do a little research.

Though I assume @Vacanci is coming from a place of experience that necessitated a CALL back feature as he calls it.

(they might be wrong )

Though experience over a supposedly Ideal situation.
I haven't done CP before.
Though I suppose all associated clauses shld be included in the contract paper during purchase.

Just keep watching him.I will prefer to buy the remaining 50% at below #2.
And I will be happy to buy above #2.10 immediately I see the vendor is exhausted.

Don't be in a rush to buy chams at #2 and above now unless you will monitor the vendor all day as we have keep our mirror for him.

What is the Target Price of Chams Plc?

You really don't understand Kobo, Kobo stocks
A lot of traders accumulated it at ₦2.30 the lowest price of the day. Those that are ok with the price readily sold.
Same with etranzact you won't see any buyer on queue but you can still get to sell it

Etranzact has remained on Full Offer for very long yet did not change price.

A lot of stocks have doubled their prices, some triple, infact some X10 since the new administration.

A lot have already repriced , even the seemingly battered DS is like X3 . I loaded UBA at 6Naira and loaded more at 13 Naira

Fidelity, Total energies, Flourmill , Wapco , to mention a few. I think a lot of stocks have already repriced and patient investor are already in the money.

Some got GTCO at 18 , others at 26

If things goes well, Fidson is a very good one to lock in at this point. I quite agree with you on that one

Fidson is one of the worst performing stocks of 2024.

It is stagnant.

Our insurance stocks are doing well now.

Guinea......Prestige.......Mansard

Trio are for 100% and more.Market has even approved them for a new high before the year end.

Sit tight and enjoy them

In a one to 3 months frame, Guinea Insurance may hit N1.00

But wait, is it not owned by the same Emeka Offor who owned Niger Insurance and watched it as it went bankrupt and was delisted ?
