I hope the shop owners have fire insurance policies. Else, back to square one.

Una Sabi the fire
santaclaws:

But if na for Anambra, you no go blame government. Some of you people just lack the brain to live in a modern society. Ok LASG is the culprit, go back to your region, una go begin cry say na tribalism!

Go and do your research, most of the buildings used by Igbos to sell spare parts in Idumota are OWNED BY YORUBAS AND RENTED BY IGBOS! So what does LASG have to gain by destroying tax-paying business in buildings owned by indigenes?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Most Lagos markets are prone to fire hazards. Most of the shops in Alaba for instance (St Peter, shops beside GTBank) are too tightly packed, open wires everywhere but if something happens tomorrow, it's Sanwo Olu's fault... Irresponsible folks!

What argument are you putting up?
You think we're daft,abi?

This 🔥 fire has inside collaboration. It's sponsored.

It's sad people's properties are trivialized at altar of political expediency.😭

It's not the first time or second time this is happening. Arson and 🔥 fire incidents creeped to crescendo when Tinubu was defeated in the epic 2023 presidential elections. The new political configuration didn't go down with APC and Lagos state government.

Since then it has been mayhem and destruction of Igbo markets and wares. An apparent move to silence Igbo dominance in the commerce of Lagos state.

Should we say it's the work of the yorubanza people?
No one would be wrong saying so rightly.
But, of course, it would be treading on the right path saying they are well established in envy and jealousy.
Tribalism is the harvest they garner with so much zest and energy that they forget to remember it reduces them to being inferior.

You are from the East. Any Yoruba you see there, send him or her back.
They are the ones to take your place when we kick you economic parasites out.
Comments from village person who never crossed beyond Lagos -Ibadan axis.

So local that they always localize their comments.

Travel to expose your outlook and understanding of others. Not assumptions and ethnic bigotry only.

Remember when some people were threatening to burn business places of people from the eastern part of Nigeria?

Is this the threat being carried out?

Sigh. Until we move pass this divisive tribal mentality, we can’t make any progress as a Nation.

I sincerely agree with you, it's politically motivated.. it's a deliberate target to the industrious Igbos albeit, I can't prove it as I have no evidence
if I were you, I'd go to the nearest police station to lodge a complaint, seemingly, you have evidence or better still, start a movement for mass exodus of your Igbos brothers back to the East, since the South West doesn't appreciate your efforts in contributing to the states economy... motivate your brethren/kins men to all return ro East and together develop your region

Go back to your rotten land, you wretched shameless slave.

It is only you losers who see going back to your land as a death sentence. That's why you run away from your barren region and the only time you agree to return permanently is when you are dead. Your land is only good for burial.
