The era of bottle feeding is fading away, the north should get ready for new Nigeria. We can't continue with this present arrangement of monkey dey work baboon dey chop. More reforms please. 35 Likes 4 Shares |

What part of the bill is anti- north? Yes, the bill may likely bring less revenue to states but definitely it would bring relief to many Nigerians. Only the Governors who are reckless in spending have something to fear.If VAT derivation is what the north is not comfortable about, let them make their presentation at the public hearing. The bill appears good. 32 Likes 2 Shares |

kunle4toyeyaho:I don't really get their point. Is it because people who earn below 1m annually will be exempted from income tax, which the states are in charge? I don't really know the North's problems with the tax bills. 19 Likes 1 Share |

If the bills favours them would they complain In many states/ provinces all over the world only a few states/provinces is usually viable by the way. This should be an avenue to sit up and generate more. Una go cry tire 39 Likes 1 Share |

If the tax reforms encourage revenue generation and retention in each state and region, then it is a very welcome development. I am in full support of it. Another good move by Tinubu’s administration. Every state and region should look inwards and stimulate necessary economic activities to be viable. 16 Likes 1 Share |

I don't know what is wrong with the north..seems they're afraid of not generating much under the new tax billing! We welcome anything that will reduce tax and bring investors to Nigeria! 8 Likes 1 Share |

See them. Una go think they want to use this to better the lot of their people,na lie. The North is the most backward region in this country. Everything Negative they are tops They kept their people in poverty, misery and War. While their elite is always having a blast at their expense If Tinubu isn't a Coward,He should push forward and sign the bill into Law. I have always called him and his gang cowards because they are always afraid of the North, but on this I hope he pushes through and we see what comes up 1 Like 1 Share |

DanieI:Wait for the final vote to pass it and you will realize he is wasting his time. Obasanjo introduced Petroleum Industry Bill in the National Assembly and it remained their until 2022 when it was passed under Buhari after series of negotiations with all parties concerned. The bill will likely suffer the same fate. If north is not in support it wont be passed. Nobody passes a bill that will reduce his own revenue earnings. 1 Like |
