Is like you inherited dullness from your father.

Why are you trying to change the crust of this to and fro argument.

You said that that herdsmen come to south because of grass and water but I am trying to tell you that they come because of grass not water because they have enough water up north but your dull brain can still not comprehend.

North has more fresh water than the south and that is a fact.

Apart from lagos and Ondo , which other state in south west have a big river ? Can you compare osun river with river Kaduna ? Which river in Oyo can you compare with river Hadejia ?

In south east only anambra has large water body , south south is the only region that have significant water body in all the states except Edo

I have lived in taraba state and I know about river ibi, river manya and river donga which ferries big badges .

Yes most of the fish consumed in the south comes from the north, Bama in Bornu state has the biggest fish market in Nigeria until Boko Haram menance with up to 10 trucks loading fish on daily basis and distributing to different parts of the country.

If you find it difficult to comprehend me , ask someone to explain for you

You are the one jumping about

So I will remind how it started

aribisala0:

Cow can be produced even more efficiently in the south

We have more water which is key to animal feed production

We have just neglected that side of the economy
Objectivist04:

More grass yes , more water no. North has abundant water

So you are the one talking about grass you just jumped in from nowhere

All I was saying is in the south We are able to produce what cows will eat in greater quantities because we have more water

I was not talking about grass You are an illiterate dunce

I said we can produce cows more efficiently
You don't do that by feeding them grass

So stop talking like a. M oron

Dude, your statement is not backed by fact. There are more water bodies in the south, more rivers, wetlands and lakes. The north has no comparison in this. So it's either you don't have all the information or you're being deliberately mischievous.

From your education, you could do some simple internet search. You're welcome!

Even with the two biggest rivers in the country technically situated in the north ?

They should just leave each state Vat for respective state

Are those rivers not in the South

Do they traverse the entire North? Gombe Kano Borno Katsina

The North is very big about 3to4 times the size of the south
The 2 rivers only pass through a small portion comparatively and emptyi nto the Niger Delta

This statement here is laughable. Is the Atlantic Ocean owned by any single country? How are you attributing it to the south? Guy! cheesy

. don't you know that some part of the ocean belong to countries ? So the ones Lagos is sand filling and developing does not belong to them right ?
So Ghana can come to lekki beach , sand fill and start developing it because ocean is not owned ?

Yes. Not after federal government borrowed billions of dollars to build structures in their state.

Billions of dollars was borrowed by both Buhari and Tinubu to site structures in their region thereby neglecting others.

Which structure abeg??

List those structures Tinubu has implemented in the south west.

Lol. Those are economic zones limited to about 200 nautical miles. Economic zone is neither north nor south. And no, Ghana cannot develop Lekki beach because it is not within their borders.

Tell your people to stop using bandits so as to promote illegal mining in the northern part of Nigeria. Many of the northern elite, politicians and Northern money are the people sponsoring illegals mining and they are not ready for any development in the north. They don't take alcohol but love to share vat from it oil is from the south of Nigeria you can share from oil revenue but gold and other mineral resources you keep to your state and you are mining it illegally also every state has its own resources so let everyone use their mineral resources to develop their state biko. Let the north stop crying.

The only thing the Chicago Accountant knows is tax and propaganda

He did it in Lagos where he used every power within his means to squeeze every penny out of Lagosians.

That is why every bus stop you stop in Lagos, you must hear Owomida. They were even contemplating taxing Television, Radio and pumping machines at a point in time in Lagos.

Used stolen money to buy political power, rig elections, enter office and tax the shit out of even the poor masses, play tribal politics to divide the masses, hire hungry political jobbers and social media errand boys to do propaganda for you, then corner the wealth of the state into your private account.

The way of the Iragbiji "master strategist"

I came across a post from one lunatic saying that SE so against the tax reform bill..
He didn’t hear it from SE fed and state reps,
He didn’t hear it from SE governors or kings or chiefs,he didn’t hear it from ohanaeze or SE leaders!

Turns out it’s their usual insecure instincts because they can’t squarely face the north and now want other southern region to speak up in support of the bill via reverse psychology!

Since the bill provides for states to keep bulk of generated VAT or TAX,is it not time for us to separate so all states can keep everything?

They should also reform the oil industry bill so all states get to keep bulk of what they generated and let SE go and “suffer” with their highest gas deposits and crude oil reserves, since you guys claim they don’t generate much….unless of course the fed govt has been lieing with figures that it’s been using to cheat the SE.

Let SE go,it’s resources is enough for it!
Yet it's ppl run to other states to live?
No be only enough resources

Run to which states?are the Chinese not also everywhere in the world? Everyone is not as docile and less industrious like the Yorubas when it comes to exploring opportunities.. Do you know the population of igbos in north and outside Nigeria? It’s only Yorubas that are always making noise about being “ “accommodating” …can you name a place Yorubas have more population than igbos in Nigeria? Even outside Nigeria..

All of you from osun, ogun have all abandoned your holes and relocated to Lagos that’s why all of you are now lagosians,no one is from OYO or ekiti anymore.

He was busy shouting before that the NASS are not independent.

So now that they are independent, he is now calling for objectivity.

Try and talk sensibly for once. Nigerians are stakeholders and a stakeholders doesn't affect the independence of NASS.

Alhaji Atiku

Tax every cow thats sold in Adamawa. Ban the importation of cow from neighboring countries.
This will increase beef prices, Lagos eats the most beef in the whole country.
Now Adamawa can get revenue as well.
The truth is the North has to generate revenue as well.
We cannot leave revenue generation to 5 states in 36.
These 5 states are carrying too much burden.

But the bill exempts Cows from being taxed.

Atikus statement is neither here nor there.
He dropped this statement in his X account this morning and was attacked by Nigerians.
After reading this message, you'll understand that the man is just a very cunning and wicked man who is just after his presidential ambition, just like Tinubu refused to speak against the Fulani herders that were ravaging the West, killing and raping their women when Buhari was president because he wants to be president.
Atiku knows that the tax reform is very much on track and the best thing to come out of this foolish and wicked Tinubu’s government, yet he won't support it openly for the fear of his Northern brothers. He just want to be on the fence, waiting for the opportunity to swing.
Peter Obi haven't condemned the reform, a signal that T-Pain is on the right track. He would do the same, if not more, if he was president.

Atiku, the most stupid politician who missed the greatest opportunity to be president served to him on the platters of gold, but he chose to deny himself the chance by choosing Okowa. He also refused to dump Iyorcha Ayu and let a Southerner be placed there. He refused to do business with the drunken master Wike and his G5, at least to allow him ascend to the presidency. He chose to surround himself with worthless idiots like Dino Milaye, Daniel Bwala, Okowa, Ayu and other fools.

Atiku should take a stand on the Tinubu tax reform bill and stop fooling himself thinking that he's smart.
Let all states take whatever tax they collect from their state. I won't drink beer in PH and share the VAT with Kano and Zamfara that break beer bottles and raid fun centers.

The Northern region is leaching on the rest of other states.
On the VAT issue where the north may be kicking is the fact that agricultural items are exempt which is good, but again look at it this way Sorghum, beef are all food items too and are VAT exempt so the states in the North earn nothing from them in terms of tax l, but down south the products of these agricultural items are charged VAT and the southern states earn from it.

And what makes you think their region is not developed? You people just sit down and type rubbish all the time. Anambra has a GDP higher than Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti states and you say it is not developed. You think it is by mammoth structures that a state is developed?

Thats easy to resolve, it will even cause other states to start raising their own cows.
Stimulating the agricultural sector.
Nigeria is one of the countries with the most arable lands in the world, yet we dont put it to good use.
Niger state alone can feed the whole West Africa....If the land is put to good use.

He is pro-North and anti-Nigeria, as well as anti-progress. How fair is the present system where resources are shared based on population and land mass, rather than derivation? If the South allows this bill to die, our children will curse us in the future.

You don't understand the new bill removes vat on Livestock and agricultural produce. So the states earn nothing on them.
