I noticed Forest had one guy permanently positioned in front of Urgate and another beside Maino whenever utd tried playing out from the back.

The first goal came from a triangle that bypassed the guy in front of Ugarte and freed him. Wonder why the players never attempted it again when it worked so well the only time they did.

de Ligt is very risk averse and seems not to trust his own passing. Ugarte is not the person to receive the ball in those situations because he just does not have that technicality. Mainoo has to do more off the ball in terms of his movement and offering angles to receive the ball.

The midfield did not do too badly actually. We had 72% possession and had 17 shots with 7 on target. Forest had 28% possession and had 11 shots with only 3 on target. The problem was that they scored from all their shots on target.

IMO the system is actually not bad. It is just that some of the personnel have to be changed for better players.

The decision doesn’t make sense. Maybe Ashworth convinced them not to sack ETH in the summer and they’re pissed at him for that.

If they don’t have a replacement lined up already, or have the right structure for recruitment in place, getting rid of Ashworth would be pure incompetence. And the Glazers were mad incompetent.

For all people have been saying DeLigt might actually be the best option for that CCB. I thought Yoro had some good passes in his armory. So maybe Amorim should try him out there.

Me i have had doubt from the moment Glazers rejected crazy money from Sheikh Jassim and accepted Sir Jim Ratcliffe bid. #RatcliffeOut might trend earlier than we expected, unless he get a better replacement asap...

Glazers would have kept him on for a minimum of 10 years. Let us watch how things pan out. Hopefully they get someone in quickly. January transfer window should not go to waste.

He won't really cry out, and he should not. Imagine crying out and not getting new players in, and you then have to depend on the same players you threw under the bus.

All he has to do is complain internally to the management and ask for reinforcement while trying to steady the ship with the otu players he currently has. Crying out to the public won't help him. The public does not buy players.

Not like the players are bad either, some key ones can’t play in the current system. We won’t see much until he gets his type of players. Hopefully, we manage to win some games before January when the window opens. Else, he might be gone soon, as the games we have in the next 2-3 weeks na die. Also, when the window opens, we hopefully get him at least 3 players to help the team understand the system.
