Exactly why I think the timing is wrong. They can always sack him after January. Mixing business with personal feelings usually doesn’t end well.

The fans actually wanted a full sale to Sheikh Jassim. Full sale to INEOS was second.

Partial sale to INEOS with the Glazers’ leprous fingers still in the club was NOT what the fans wanted.

Not like the players are bad either, some key ones can’t play in the current system. We won’t see much until he gets his type of players. Hopefully, we manage to win some games before January when the window opens. Else, he might be gone soon, as the games we have in the next 2-3 weeks na die. Wrong. When a team is not performing, the players are deemed really bad. Fact is we signed these players from other clubs in the last 2 years bar some like Rashford, Bruno. We had an overhaul just recently and we are calling for another one in January plus next summer, no be juju be that? Chelsea did plenty overhauls but nothing changed until Enzo came in. Jury still out on him though.

Did Ashworth oversee the summer spending? 200m on those players does not seem to be making the best of resources. Not saying they're bad players but it definitely doesn't seem like 200m well spent.

de Ligt has to do better cos Maguire progressed the ball better when he came on.

Mainoo and Ugarte also have to better, especially Mainoo because Ugarte does not appear to have it in him to collect the ball in tight spaces between the lines. Mainoo can do it but his off the ball movement to get in position to receive the ball has to improve.
