CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF VISITS THEATRE COMMAND MAIDUGURI, URGES TROOPS TO INTENSIFY EFFORTS TO END TERRORISM

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has called on officers and soldiers of the Joint Task Force North-East Operation HADIN KAI to redouble their efforts in the fight against terrorism and insurgency in the North-East region. This directive was delivered on Saturday, December 7, 2024, during his visit to the Headquarters Theatre Command, Operation HADIN KAI, in Maiduguri.

During his address to the troops, Lt Gen Oluyede emphasized his mission to engage directly with personnel, assess their welfare, and identify operational challenges. He pledged to provide the necessary support to enhance their operational efficiency and morale. The COAS reaffirmed his dedication to equipping the troops with the resources needed to restore peace and stability in the region. He also urged them to remain disciplined, focused, and resolute in their duties to accomplish their mission.

As part of his visit, the COAS toured the 7 Division Medical Services and Hospital, where he interacted with injured personnel receiving treatment. He expressed the Nigerian Army's commitment to ensuring they receive comprehensive medical care for a speedy recovery. Additionally, Lt Gen Oluyede inspected the construction progress of the 7 Division Headquarters Complex and reviewed repaired and refurbished combat enablers critical to the troops' operational success

This would have been soul touching on a normal day evoking so much sympathy and empathy but when I remember the millions of innocent women and children starved to death by the Nigerian military during the uncivil war and unarmed protesters shot to death during end sars and ipob protests,I decide to mind my business and save my emotions .

First of, the Nigerian Army did not starve biafrans to death during the war, rather Ojukwu himself starved his own people for media and international sympathy. Secondly, during the EndSars protest, several jails were attacked by the protesters and many hardened criminals found their way back into the society. Then for Ipob, they constituted themselves a parallel authority, blocking major roads and restricting vehicular movement because a non state actor in the person of Nnamdi Kanu was passing by or addressing his supporters. And ipob military wing created by Kanu, armed and trained to carry out clandestine functions without state's permission.

Do you realize that a truck load of villagers has been abducted in kankara in Katsina state after more than 24 hours siege. Some if you don't just know what you are talking. It took 11 years for Syria to fall into the hands of rebels . Nigeria might not be so lucky. This is partly because Nigeria is too ignorant and run by jokers

Biafran military fought purely a military combat . How on earth can one explain to the world that th became victorious in a war not through military combat but by sabotaging farm lands , starving women and children. This purely cowardice of the worst order. You starve women and children and cower before men

Crying more than the bereaved. If Biafra had won the war, Niger delta oil wells would have been offered to France in return for their support for biafra.

Stop engaging all these sympathizers to Niger DELTA and leave the idiats within the region that believe OIl is tomorrow.

Let the rodents enjoy their stupidity.

You like engaging alot of idiats, who already have a fixated mindset against anything IGBO or BIAFRA. Why bother to educate them...?
