He empowered 60 people and expected the others to have no power and they showed him. Hopefully he's learnt next time to actually empower everyone instead of a select few. My suggestion is he funds a library with internet access in his constituency. He might even charge a small amount to fund and operate it. 19 Likes 2 Shares |

How did he select the 60 beneficiaries? What criteria did he use? Was it a transparent and inclusive driven approach? Nonetheless, he has done well. At least, 60 people with a good number of indirect families will be positively impacted through this initiative. Thank you sir, donor. |

These people are confused. Residents are different from community members. Community members are entitled to such initiative, you are resident in a place gives you no such right, go to your state constituency to make demands 1 Like 1 Share |

Yankiss: It's even a disgrace that law makers and politicians boldly empower citizens with generators. It's obvious they cannot fix the light issue. This is because they are all there to make money for themselves. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Sponsoring generators. Aren't we ashamed that we cannot tackle this electricity monster and give Nigerians 24/7 public power supply 6 Likes |

Ibehchizzy: See what your leaders are giving you. Headpans for your mothers and wheelbarrows for your fathers.. Commissioning incinerators. Even the wheelbarrows are on hire purchase. If your papa dare loses the wheelbarrow, they will pack you and your siblings. https://www.nairaland.com/5326451/see-waste-incinerator-constructed-t 6 Likes 1 Share

TouchNfollow: Mobs will soon start attacking and killing these state-level legislators within their constituencies...the police have already begun to rob regular citizens on the streets without any care for regulatory consequences - they are the law. Let's all watch Nigeria unravel in real time, since Tinubu, Shettima & Co think it's all about them and their greedy families 4 Likes 1 Share |

Gboom: Everybody should go school. If you hadn't gone to school you wouldn't be here calling me names in English. And I'm certain you'd buy school for your children when you have any, though, do tell me I am wrong so I can come and personally kick your ass for disadvantaging your children and populating my surrounding with ignorant stupid almanjeris. Still, I never said school, and I didn't even suggest there be books in the library I did propose, but internet access that even the poor can benefit from cheaply. And if your "solar streetlight and borehole" can be provided, that's good too, since we deserve all the good things that exist. They are all better than empowering a select few. |

Ibehchizzy:Their way of thinking the surprise me, I thought they said yorubas go school pass for Nigeria? The supposed to be learned na! Why allowed them selves to be used by useless Nigerian politicians? If my blood brother is the president and am suffering it doesn't make any sense at all 1 Like |

TimiofAbuja: A disgrace not only to Nigerians but the entire human race. Was he empowered in this way while growing up? Can a man a ever become self sufficient for ten years through this empowerment apart from those who are given tricycle. I know some olóribú másànfáni we want to quote me but ask yourself if this was d way Awolowo empowered the SW many of rulers today would have been penniless. 1 Like |
