Because of the peculiar behaviours of our Igbo brothers, which has caused them to interface with law enforcement, many of them prefer to call South Africans xenophobic when that's not the case.

In South Africa, we have all sorts of nationalities living here from Cameroonians, Senegalese and Ghanians...all of them live in peace and they work hard and thrive...it's only Nigerians, of a particular tribe who are responsible for animosity. Again, Nigerians are not being lynched. Most of them die at the hands of their fellow criminals or when they try to act stubbornly with police officers. Ordinary South Africans don't go around killing and maiming foreigners. If that was the case there would have been a slaughter of Zimbabweans, Mozambicans, Tanzanians and Zambians.
