If it was USA that was in Russias's shoes, by now Ukraine would have been leveled to the ground like they did in Iraq.

They attacked Hiroshima and Nagasaki when it was not necessary because, Japan was gradually retreating from all fronts after the Soviet Union already defeated Hitler between April to May 1945.

Japan seeing Hitler was already defeated began to withdraw their force from burma (Myanmar) South East Asia and china between July to August.
The USA dropped atomic bombs not once but twice and not on military infrastructure but on civilian infrastructure and area on 6 August 1945, Hiroshima , killing 90,000 to 166,000 people mostly civilians destroying 70,000 out of 76,000 buildings. This was not enough,on the 9th ,2nd nuke was dropped on Nagasaki , killing between 40,000 to 75,000 people immediately. Destroying everything within the radius of the blast.

Anytime the USA starts showing themselves as a moral or lovers of democracy, it's all a big lie. Obama, Bush, Clinton and the rest have killed more people than Putin will ever dream of, but y'all still celebrate them as world leaders. The truth of the matter is, the world would be peaceful without the USA as a world power.

Was the United states and Japan in a state of war before the attack at pearl harbour??
Was civilians not killed during the unprecedented and unprovoked attack by the imperial Japanese empire on Pearl harbour??

For emphasis sake Hiroshima was targeted because of the concentration of military and munitions facilities in the city.

After the first bombing, the Japanese were given the option to surrender, but they refused hence the second bomb was dropped.
