One night ago, about 8 months ago,three bannies and a guy boarded my keke and were heading to different destinations...One of the bannies brought out a #200 note and gave me,but the werey was insisting it was a #500 note she gave to me cuz it was dark already.......The unfortunate thing was that I had only #500 note in my bag among other currencies.....,And of which it was the only #500 note I took along with myself when I left my house.......As a matter of fact,I was still holding the money she gave me in my hands at the time....Na so this banny start to dey insult me,dey call me thief . I tried to explain to the other passengers but they never believed me, saying it was #500 note she gave to me.......I was so pained that I couldn't take their insults anymore but had to drop them halfway....My mood was spoit already,so I rode home straight up.......I felt my innocence was tampered with already and I learnt a big lesson on that day,which was,i could have been a victim of jungle justice despite the fact that I knew very well that I was innocent...

"The Mall of Misfortune"

It was a sunny day, and I had embarked on a routine mission to procure supplies for my household. My trusty sidekicks, my , accompanied me on this adventure. We navigated the bustling corridors of the mall, carefully selecting the finest goods. With our shopping complete, we proudly presented our haul at the checkout counter.

But little did I know, disaster was lurking in the shadows. As I reached for my phone to initiate the payment process, my heart sank. The MTN network, once a faithful ally, had abandoned me in my time of need. The words "No Network" glared at me, taunting me with their very presence.

I tried and tried, my fingers dancing across the screen in a desperate bid to conjure up a signal. But it was to no avail. The network had vanished, leaving me to face the cashier's impatient gaze.

My , sensing my distress, looked on with wide eyes. "O, what's wrong?" they chimed in unison. I forced a reassuring smile, but my mind was racing. How could this be happening to me?

In a last-ditch effort, I called upon my trusty friend, a fellow Nairalander, to come to my rescue. "Sis, I need data!" I pleaded. He responded swiftly, unfortunately bank network has hooked it. Oh! Not again

But alas, even this heroic effort was for naught. The network, it seemed, was determined to thwart me. I slumped against the counter, defeated. The cashier, sensing my despair, offered a sympathetic smile.

"I'm so sorry, ma'am. Maybe you can come back later and pay for the supplies?" she suggested. I nodded glumly, the weight of my failure settling upon me.

As we trudged away from the counter, my looked up at me. "O, tell her we'll come back and pay later!" he exclaimed. I smiled weakly, feeling a pang of embarrassment.

The mall, once a hub of activity and excitement, had transformed into a scene of utter chaos. The MTN network had wreaked havoc on my day, leaving me to pick up the pieces of my shattered dignity.

And so, I slunk away, vanquished by the merciless forces of technology. But I vowed to return, armed with a vengeance and a reliable network connection. The battle may have been lost, but the war was far from over.

On a bustling day at MarketSquare, I ventured out to gather a few essentials. (I settled for MarketSquare because the ShopRite near my location, the management was poor asf so I don't go there..dey fit just announce say make everyone go outside say generator dey get issue. No bi small thing.)

As I strolled through the vibrant shelves, my attention was suddenly captivated by a sharply dressed man approaching the entrance. Unfortunately, he seemed blissfully unaware of the transparent glass walls that stood in his path. With a resounding thud, his head collided with the glass, shattering it into a million sparkling fragments.

A pang of sympathy washed over me, especially as the jagged edges left a mark on his forehead. Yet, despite my concern, I found myself unable to suppress a fit of laughter. I quickly ducked behind a nearby shelf, my mirth bubbling forth in uncontrollable waves. Each time I attempted to regain my composure, the laughter would surge back, forcing me to hide once more. I wasn’t alone; several onlookers shared my amusement. It wasn’t the injury itself that struck me..or say us.. as funny—of course, I felt for him—but rather the sight of him striding confidently, only to be thwarted by the glass barrier, while the young woman accompanying him dashed away as if escaping an explosion.

Once the commotion subsided, I completed my purchase and resumed my wanderings through the aisles. As I meandered past a gadget store on my right, something caught my eye—a sleek device that resembled an iPad. And guess what? Like how Google Search and Facebook steals our private search results to show us third party related search results indexed as ads, I was planning on purchasing an iPad so it coincided perfectly. Eager to have a closer look, I hurried over, excitement bubbling within me. Yet, in my haste, I too fell victim to the invisible barrier, colliding headfirst into the glass, and I slipped and fell, leaving me momentarily stunned and, inevitably, the source of another round of laughter. Omo, it was so loud. I didn't even see anyone laughing but I sure did know they were waiting for me to leave. My forehead was red gan...like Mrs Karma was worried that day.


Crazy experience I still laugh at when I remember it.
