Impressive takes on higher TF and TA.
Do you activatively engage in day trading the NIG ASI or is it purely swing trades?

Thanks!
I swing trade; NGX ASI is not liquid enough for day trading.

I’m using my Saturday night to do analysis grin

So, looking into this, the last 3 years starting from 2021, revenue has grown by at least 60% YoY. Seems they started doing something differently in 2022. Grew by 63% in 2022, 70% in 2023 and this year on annualized basis it’s set to grow by 61%. Based on their facts and figures sheet, their revenue growth for next year seems conservative, growing by 56% based on the 2024 annualized figure. Pa Emma was right, based on these 2024 they should be able to payout a dividend of N5 unless they have some serious capex plans. I arrived at conservative 6.34 EPS for FY 24 and based on the 89% payout ratio from the last two years.
EPS for 2025 is looking like it’ll be N8.50, and using a PAT margin of 20% (average of last three years). EPS comes in at a conservative 7.62 and assuming no change to the payout ratio, a N6.50 dividend. Using your PE this could easily be a stock that’s N100 in the next 12-18 months

I need to understand the core business and revenue drivers further though, what market share is like versus SAHCO, their competitor

Nahco has 60% of the market share. 9 month EPS of N4.71. EPS for July to Sept 2024 is N3.00, assuming that happens in the last quarter of the year we should be looking at a full year EPS of N7.71k.

Or a conservative full year EPS of N6.51k.

Ah! I didn't realize that you're online. I appreciate your feedback here.

Indeed, the whip saws in any "thin market" can make you "lose your shirt and pants." That can be very enervating. Lol. I would like to test out trades on the NGX ASI soon just to see how things pan out.

OK, I thought as much. I was a bit confused because I'm NOT used to the kind of chart that you uploaded but since it's from Investing, I'll study it better down the road. Indeed a top down analysis (using multiple timeframes from monthly, weekly, to daily, etc), is the best for finding key reversal patterns and/or support and resistance levels for any investment asset. It works like clockwork.

Thanks again for the insights.👍

Thr is nothing special about the announcement from Tony and partners. They are just increasing thr holdings by additional 2M plus units. And if you wish to sell directly to them you tell your broker as cross deal with extra .25% premium to the market price for you shares. It is just another insider deal that is about to happen at little extra premium price. That is the French

Have in mind thr initially units will now amount to 373,369,447 units because of the share reconstruction carried out.
Tony and Co holds above 1/3 of transcorp plc shares .Next yr will be good for transcorp

This write-up was written in bad faith.
So because I demanded that Wale should not waste the company's money on frivolous things, then I'm myopic, ungrateful and mischievous (are you serious?).
Hope no be this kin brain you dey use cross road sha.

You can't use these words on the shareholders for demanding accountability, responsibility, prudence in spending and good corporate governance. It's within our rights to do so. That you are okay taking peanuts from people because you see them as mini gods, well we don't. I am a shareholder and an investor, my money is involved, so I have the right to ask.

Thanks

ghm:

Na wa o. It is well.
How can human being be satisfied?

Those who are complaining about the party or OandO not paying dividends are myopic, ungrateful or just mischeivous. We had a company that is almost done and dead and the management, through their doggedness turned things around and the company, though not totally free but has a path already set for a great future and some of us are still complaining.

The first time I bought OandO was N4. I have already written the company off as bad investment but just decided to keep it since the money is not that sizeable or enticing only to wake up one day and saw 8 digits, only from OandO. from N4 to N89 then. Dividends could not have done that. Capital appreciation did it smoothly. I can have my own party by selling a few shares from my stake in OandO if I need a party badly.

As somone said, the end of the year party is not for shareholders, it is for the staff who have worked tirelessly to turn things around and the management did very well to recognise them by throwing a big party to celebrate the gigantic achievement and motivate them for future exploits.

Lastly, for my fellow shareholders, Capital Appreciation is much better than dividends payments, that is why some great US companies e.g. Google, Amazon, Nividia, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft etc are called growth stocks, they deliver capital appreciation and not just dividends even though some of them still pay but not at the expense of growth that will create capital apprecaition for their shareholders..

The units TOE wants to acquire is very little. Less than 2.5million units.

Why not buy it from the floor of the house instead of going through the MTO route?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Raider76: 5:46pm On Dec 22
I think, by the regulation, doing the MTO officially confirms Heirs Holdings' control of Transcorp.
