This is really my worry. We sign players for the so called new system and God forbid, if it does not work out, we would be back to getting ‘his’ players for another manager. Man Utd fans are just meh!

I think there is too much emphasis on system. Ultimately good players adapt. There no buying good players for just a system. As long as you buy good players. Liverpool have VVD, Konate, Gomez and Quansah for example. All fast athletic CBs who can defend wide areas but also in a high line. You're telling me they wouldnt be able to play with 3 at the back? Apart from Yoro ( Who is still only 18)where are the fast athletic CBs at United that can cover wide areas?

Defending set pieces has become an Herculean task in this club. How many straight games conceding from corners and free kicks. Then we also have opponents scoring from almost every shot on target. But I still believe if we can sort out our attack, we will become much better. We don't score enough for all the chances we create. Scoring goals gives a certain kind of motivation. Amorim has a lot of work to do.
