Budaatum. Rand Paul is a senator. Why you think he wants Faucci jailed if there is no 'there there' ? Why you think Faucci got state security in the first case?

I've mentioned Norm Eisen as one of the villains who need to be jailed. Here he is, advicing Arizona Democrat AG Moyes to charge Trump loyalists over 2020 elections Giuliani, Meadows and 18 others were indicted. https://thefederalist.com/2024/12/23/leftist-group-that-drew-up-blueprints-for-get-trump-prosecutions-was-on-retainer-to-advise-arizona-ag/ The crimes by democrats continue being unearthed. I'm looking at big charges Conspiring to interfere in elections, remove a sitting president, jail an ex president, treason involving hundreds of :democrats and RINOs **Norm Eisen was Obama classmate, his ambassador to Czechoslovakia and also his ethics czar. This punk was counsel to the sham impeachment of Trump.

basilico: They deserve the 100 years in jail. They actually deserve more in my opinion. I loathe child sex abusers. They deserve to rot under the prison. Can you ( or a Republican) say the same when someone you think belongs to your party, team or ideology does the same? Or will it be another cry about how it’s a witch hunt and set up. I’m not asking you right now to say it about any person you can think of who’s been accused of the same. Because obviously you’ll come up with excuses about why it’s not true and they didn’t do it. I’m asking you if in a hypothetical situation a person who you think belongs to the republican side is found to have sexually abused kids, do you agree they deserve the same sentence? It’s truly a yes or no question. No long tales needed 3 Likes 1 Share |

basilico: These particular fuhggots must be castrated. And I mean, their diqs and balls should be cut off without anesthetics, after which I'd want them kept alive in an all male prison for a long while. Do know however that that is not a punishment for gay people who are not child molesters and or abusers. Basically, not all gays are fuhggots. 1 Like 1 Share |

LordAdam16: I’m assuming you mean the Catholic priests who have been found to sexually abuse children? ( No innate bias here as I grew up Catholic. Many of my fond childhood memories were made in the church. I was even in juniorate to become a nun at some point in my life. Long story .) To answer your question, I don’t know how many conservatives defend those priests. For those of them who do, shame on them. However, I know a lot of conservatives do defend predatory evangelical pastors. Shame on all of them too. It grinds my gears when people want to “care about kids” as a front for their agenda instead of truly caring about kids. So many of these churches do not ostracize the ministers found wanting. They hide, cover up, transfer and sometimes outrightly support them. If only they could be about the life they claim to be about. 1 Like 1 Share |

budaatum:Isn’t amazing that you can say that and we can agree. Because we all agree that sexually abusing children is such a low depraved thing to do regardless of who the culprit is. But let it be someone they support and all of a sudden it’s shifting goal posts and meandering around the truth. 1 Like 1 Share |

cococandy: The Archbishop of Canterbury recently resigned because he did not take action against a paedophile priest. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4gvpyzxvjpo There are those asking for the resignation of the Archbishop of York too. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/dec/22/archbishop-of-york-stephen-cottrell-david-tudor-case. Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by basilico: 12:49pm On Dec 24 |
budaatum:The church absolutely cocndemns every immoral action. The church does not condone such actions at all. Humans are wicked of course and it is wrong for churches already facing dwindling membership to cover up such heinous acts. Faith is a personal thing and it's one relationship with his God that should drive ones actions. |
Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by cococandy(f): 12:50pm On Dec 24 |
budaatum:And they should. As a matter of urgency. The greatest loss of the church are the kids who no one protected and they grew up into scornful adults who don’t believe in the sincerity of the teachings of the church. The recommendations of the review will apply to all religious organisations, including Islam, Hindu etc, and anywhere else of similar child-adult structure.I agree. I usually don’t speak on other religions because I’ve never been in one or learned their doctrine. But it doesn’t take a genius to know that if these things are happening in Christianity, there’s no way other religions are exempt. We even see examples in the child marriages muslims perform. But most of them are choosing to remain silent and complicit. Disgusting. |

cococandy: Lots of reasons why churches are facing a crisis and it's not only the actions of the clergy. The reported actions are miniscule to the actual number of sins committed by them. The glorification of money should rank among the top reasons churches are in crisis. Add internet access too. Disillusionment in life also a big factor Many reasons 1 Like |
Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by cococandy(f): 1:15pm On Dec 24 |
basilico:I don’t disagree with these reasons.
Internet access shouldn’t challenge faith that is based on truth. Internet access makes access to Information easier. True faith should be able to stand the test of more information. Unless what we’re teaching crumbles in the face of knowledge. right. But what’s causing the disillusionment? Clergy actions and the cover up of those who were supposed to be their protectors. The words and actions are not matching up for these kids in their formative years. So they grow up disillusioned by the phony and hypocrisy of it all. |

Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by basilico: 1:25pm On Dec 24 |
cococandy:As I said there are many reasons and I'm of the opinion that it's not these sex scandals thats bleeding church memberships. When kids are exposed to worldly pleasures early they lose faith easily as opposed to those in very tight knit controlled societies. TV and internet glorify inequities 24/7 increasing their exposure. Some societies have demanded no prayers in school , no having the ten commandments displayed in public areas ,etc . Look at those Celebrity video's on TV. You don't have to chew books to live a life like they do, mostly things the church frown upons. 1 Like |

cococandy: Religion is restrictive and has many rules, As people grow and get more enlightened, they realize many of the reasons they were religious can be explained with logic Religion also thrives when there is a lot of mystery and poverty, the more people have knowledge and grow their resources the less religious they become. Society has become way more enlightened than it used to be, So it makes less sense for enlightened people to believe in some stories of religion that sounds mythical or not following modern day logic 4 Likes 4 Shares |

cococandy: I don't believe in gods. In fact, I don't only not believe, I know gods do not exist and are the amazing creations of human beings. The world would be much worse and full of stupid idiots if there were no churches and mosques and other religious institutions to teach what they teach. I can't after all not see how horrible we would all be if we were not taught to love our neighbours even though we often fail. For that reason, I'm taking my family to church (of England) tonight as I'm certain to be far too lazy to bother waking us all up to go tomorrow. Mohammed is a prophet, Buddha is an amazing teacher, and Christ lives only when I don't stupidly crucify him in and with my ignorant heart and soul and mind.

cococandy: Look who typed out a "long tale". 😉 Well, here's mine. 😊 The Gaetz story is icky. Mucking about in the brackish waters of statutory rape is not my idea of a grand time. However, it is fair to ask: "Why did the FBI/DOJ investigate this potential serious crime and opt not to press charges"? Garland charged a POTUS for mishandling classified documents. He charged a Senator for bribery. Why did he exercise uncharacteristic prosecutorial discretion for Gaetz? I doubt you are willing to suss out the answer to that question. The Gaetz situation is #metoo-esque. Your side famously does not care about getting into the weeds. An accusation is enough. That's all you need. It does not have to be valid, credible, or hold up against scrutiny. Asking Questions = Rape Apologist. So why bother? Here's the depraved paradigm that your camp wants to enforce. Level a serious accusation. Get up in arms. Anyone who so much as raise their hands or gives the impression that they're not 100% supportive of the lynching gets clobbered as an enabler, apologist, or cultist. MAGA and the broader conservative camp have iced out personalities before. If there was credible evidence that Gaetz did actually commit statutory rape, he'll fade in obscurity. We would know too, because this story has been in the open for more than a year, and the MAGA-verse is a small world. Diddling is a cardinal sin for the movement. It is not tolerated in any form. When MAGA turns on a person, it goes all in. Where is Milo Yiannopoulos today? Happy holidays! Warm regards to your fam. -Lord 1 Like 1 Share |

raumdeuter: I do not agree that "Religion is restrictive". When atheist non-believing me reads about Jesus, I see a person who introduced a religion that tried to free people from those who try to restrict others with religion. Thing is, religions teach people, and especially the ignorant who indeed do need to be restricted from their base human natures of hatred and ignorance, to use their own minds just as Eve and Jesus Christ did, if we but understood what we read in our religion books and abandon our childish ways and practise what is taught. In fact, its like communism, and capitalism, and conservatism and liberalism and many other isms. One can focus on there bad aspects and either adopt them as restrictive, or one can note their good bits and use them to create what can best be referred to as the Kingdom of God on earth and in our countries and right here amongst us in this thread. We are after all, or at least can be, the salt of Nairaland if we tried to let the gods be our guide. |

bemeruca: As in, if your boys were raped and abused by any religion, I would attack those who abuse them instead of joining you in cutting off their abusing diqs and kicking their asses straight to hell? Would I also be attacking those who expose the abuse of my own children instead and then make excuses for the criminals too, or is it your opinion that I don't care about your own children's welfare as much as I do care about my own children's because I am a stupid idiot like you are? 1 Like 1 Share |

cococandy: It frustrates me that many don't see this, but Christ always reminds me to forgive everyone for they know not what they do. I can't forgive the resident stupid idiot though, for he definitely does know the evil he does, and that is just not forgivable despite the fact my not forgiving him makes it certain that I will indeed burn in the hottest part of hell. Trust me bemeruca, when I am burning in hell, my only delight and joy is you will be feeling the hell fire more than I would because of your surprise at ending up in hell right there with me, because there is absolutely no way any god would let your evil lying stupid ignorant idiot sort in its peaceful beautiful heaven so you can catch your useless trolling cruise and dabaru the entire heaven as you dabaru here. 1 Like |

LordAdam16:I am willing to suss out the answer and can’t deduce its simply as a result of gray areas. This is why I didn’t want to use specific cases as examples because each case is going to have what makes it different or more heinous than the other, thereby murky up the conversation as a whole. The gravity of what Matt did is not as dire as someone who kidnapped an unwilling child and forced them into sexual acts they didn’t want. It might not even be illegal depending on location. Those gray areas help people who are for him to use age-of-consent being different in different states or the willingness of the child to make him not such a bad person. But the crux of the issue is, why are they not outrightly disgusted by him instead of finding ways to tell us it wasn’t that bad. Like we know there are levels to it. But why is a technicality the hill they were willing to die on to side with that kind of a morally questionable man? This is not true pls. Let’s not conflate someone being canceled online with the actual justice system. There’s always an investigation and of course consequences based on said investigation. The thing you call “asking questions” is exactly what the justice system does when it’s doing the investigation. (We can talk about certain evils of the justice system at a different time) But your side calls the investigations witch-hunts. And that’s where the divide comes. The questions y’all often ask is not because you want to get to the truth. It’s usually victim blaming in nature. Almost like they want to prove at all costs that the accuser is lying. Which in itself is part of the problem. Because it creates an atmosphere where victims can’t come forward. Maybe in the past I’d believe this. Not in today’s climate though. Anything goes in the MAGA world it seems. And that’s why people of those proclivities tend to join your camps. Something tells them they’ll get away with it over there.
Thank you. And same to you. Very Merry Christmas 🎄🎁. It’s my favorite time of the year hands down. 1 Like |
