Yemen has been at war with the Saudis backed by the US and Israel for over a decade.

IAF was even engaged by the Saudis to drop bombs on Yemen. The US deployed their MOAB bombs in same Yemen targeting the Houthis. It's even rumoured that the Israelis droped several tactical nukes on Yemen.

See, these guys are not your average Muppets (all permissions from Captain Price).

They are the real deal. Rag heads who live to fight and fight to live to fight another day.

The Houthis are not your typical Allahu Akbar suicidal drones fighting for 72 virgins.

These guys are highly motivated and believe in their just cause and want to fight to live to see their blood and sweat come to pass.

Rule out a land invasion because Yemen is as rugged and mountanious like Afghanistan and if you know anything about mountainous terrain you will see that aerial bombing raids that include tactical nukes and MOAB do not do shit. Yemen will take several nukes and still crawl out fighting.

That leaves only a ground invasion and you know how that went in Afghanistan. And even if the Americans wanted to do a land invasion ,how possible is that with the Houthis having ballistic missiles ? They will blow up any amphibious landing party and the gay boat that brought them to shore. A land invasion from Saudi Arabia won't cut it as the Houthis will rain drones on any invading party from there and take out ARAMCO facilities. So you can bet that a ground invasion will see to Houthis taking out Saudi oil facilities that are all concentrated to the SE border area with Yemen. And you can add also the permanent closure of the Suez Canal due to USS vessels being drowned on the shallow waters.

The Houthis are the real deal and epitomise that of a man down with nothing to lose.
