. U shouldn't have allowed them even open your engine ,talkless of changing rings. Your rings didbnot break, rather they got seized and stuck and did not expand.now the car problems will be unlimited.they aont torgue back the engine to its factory settings, they wont torgue back the valve springs to settings.whwn u should have soaked the chamber at home.alaye kiss that car good bye...
Thank you for your contribution, The car has been fixed back to 100%... I was able to buy original rings from TP, the car started up right away and it's working perfectly... No smoke or funny noise

Hello everyone

My car (Honda Accord 2010) rooftop paint has cracked and it makes the car ugly. There is this thing that can be used to cover it like a large sticker.

Please who knows what it is called and how can I get it.

It is going to be a temporary fix if it is not too expensive

Don't follow this advice. The best advise is to spray it. It's not expensive, but then, cheap and expensive is relative.

your oil has dried up and your bearings and rods have done meet and greet, engine has knocked out.well honda engine no too cost ...

Thanks for the input. Contrary to that, the oil is gauged.

So I topped up my gear oil, steering oil, and even replaced my right wheel bearing, yet the noise persists.

From the front left side. But it's so subtle it could actually be anywhere from the front.

Actually it's like a whine more than a wobble.

Any 07/08 odyssey owner here?

I used mine to travel from Lagos to the East yesterday, the first time I'm going that far with it. About 2hrs to end of my trip, I started hearing a whirring sound from the engine and it's been giving me concern.

Has anybody experienced this?

Any good advice is welcome

Check the power steering fluid level. Also check if there’s bubbles in the fluid container. If yes, top up the fluid.

Yeah, I checked and topped it up already. I'ld have to embark on my trip to lag like that. Hoping it doesn't fail in some way.

When you get to Lagos, try to bleed the pump. Remove all the fluid and put a new one. You can check YouTube for videos on how to bleed the system. I’ll recommend you do it yourself. It’s quite easy.

Congratulations on your car. The most important thing is that your car is running well. Don't mind the guy that is giving you 3months. Who is he to say how long it will last? Please, I would love if you come back after 3months and tell him your car is still good. That will teach him to respect other people's decisions.

Oga rest abeg. Even if lasts 2days, how is it your problem? Abeg allow him to enjoy his car. You are not the judge of his car.

Why exactly are you not thinking of repainting your car? You can even repaint only the roof. Why have you chosen to use a sticker to cover it? Please make it make sense to us.

Oga be calming down. Why the insult? Why are you so irritable? In my experience, people rush to insults when they have nothing else useful to offer.

Good day house,
I have an issue with my Honda Civic 2008 model. My car uses drum brakes (lining) at the back and it's always leaking oil every now and then. My mechanic and even brake master has changed the rubber severally but after few days or weeks it starts leaking again. I was now advised to convert it to brake disc to have peace of mind. Pls like how much would all the mechanical parts needed for the conversion cost before they start calling inflated price for me. Please....
