Ordinary leave Lagos that they have been clamouring for, turn crying and calling for arrest of lagospedia. I told my neighbor who is igbo, he always say they will leave Lagos and it will collapse when they finally leave. When lagospedia made the statement on Twitter, he was so mad and I remind him of how he said igbos will relocate their businesses to the east and I said this should have been an opportunity to grab. If igbos leave Lagos today, other tribes will take advantage and nobody will travel from Lagos to the east to buy for instance spare parts for vehicles. Is it not buying and selling. There is nothing hard to go to china or Japan to get what you need. Even thou igbos dominated Alaba, computer village and ladipo but there are other tribes offering same services. My friend from Edo has one of the biggest shops in computer village.

Igbos insult Yorubas all year round, and say they will leave Lagos. No problem.
But the greatest threat you can tell an Igbo man is to tell him to go back to Igboland. They all start crying and begging as if staying in Igboland is a death sentence.

This idiotic Betty now, after insulting Yorubas, she has refused to stay in Imo, she's hiding in Ibadan. But she's insulting Yorubas. Such an old, senseless fishwife.

People should try to know what happened between both of them first.

It's not good to be judging from distance while you haven't heard from both of them.

And stop making it look as if is a tribal thing. Her late husband knew her and where she is from very well before decided to marry her.

It's only a fool, outdated educated illiterate, religious and tribal bigots that are still relying on tribe and religion to make a judgement nowadays. The world has advanced beyond this primitive thinking. Change your thoughts

Maybe you were deaf, dumb and in coma when Betty insulted Yorubas on her personal Twitter page.

There is a reason why Igbos shave the heads of widows and prevents women from inheriting property.
Betty should have been handled the way Igbos handle widows. That's how you stop madness like this.

The State Govt. and Ondo people can honour their son as they wish. Betty's choice of words is embarrassing for a woman of her status. There are better ways to handle this.

Can you name any igbo community that prevents women from "inheriting property"? So you are saying that a woman can not inherit her husbands property in igboland?? You scumbag! You can't travel pass Ore but you want to pontificate on issues way above the comprehension of your small brain. She was your first lady and she is not the only igbo to be in that position in Yorubaland. There is another one in Osun. More are coming up. You will soon have a heart attack.

He was an Ondo man before he made the eternal mistake of marrying her.

Ondo State will celebrate their son and leader whichever way they deem fit and one ugly madwoman and tribal bigot from wherever can't have a say in that.

Get that into your empty flat head.

There's no Igbo first lady in Osun. Adeleke has kicked Ngozi out.
Jegede lost because his wife is Igbo.
Sola Oke didn't even try because he was warned that with an igbo wife, he's going nowhere.
Yorubas have woken up. Any politician with an Igbo wife must first kick her out if he wants any headway. Otherwise, he won't even get party ticket.
No Igbo first lady again. All of them have been neutered.
You see that tribalism you started, you will reap it bountifully.

You hypocrites want Igbo to be first lady but this crying bigot who married a Yoruba man, why didn't you vote her when she came to contest?

God forgive the late Aketi.

But he obviously married from the wrong place. Her greedy nature to power might have even shortened his life span.

Is it only not being able to be the governor that can make one angry in Nigeria?

You are judging from outside that's your problem but what I want to pass to you is that Igbos are expressive and don't pretend when they are not good with what is going on around them unlike the Yorubas who pretend and die like we are seeing a lot of suicide in the west.

This same people committing suicide up and down will even praise the person whose fault is why they are suffering in the first place.

The greatest mistake of the late governor was to marry this ugly, embittered soul from the land of primitive, forest-dwelling ancestors! Betty is so petty and uncivilized.....shior! The Akeredolu family should not allow this crazy woman to create problems for Aketi's children. The family Head should not fold his arms and watch this village Mgbeke destroying the future of Aketi's children with her primitive attitude.

It's really sad but the harsh reality is that I can bet her children are just Yoruba in name only.

They will behave exactly like her. Uncouth and useless.

Late Aketi made the worst mistake of his life the day he met her.

Maybe he would have still been alive if he wasn't dragged here and there from sick bed just for power.

She wanted her first son to inherit the office of Governor of Ondo State. Worst still, she is not a good person and her kite didn't even fly at all. In return, she feels betrayed by the people around Aketi thinking that Aketi kindness was enough to hand over political power to her children after Aketi's demise.

She did not know that Aketi was loved but she was not kind to the people enough for that love to be inherited by her. She and her children are political pariah in Ondo State.

Which kind wife Akeredolu marry before he died and was regarded as First Lady.
By definition she is a pained, vengeful and manipulative wife. For someone to devalue the platform that brought her now deceased husband to the position of Governor and now despise the honor they want to give him with her comments that shows how much venom of a woman she has in her.
Do you reason at all? Why ethnically biased?

Is it because Betty, The wife,is not a Yoruba? If she were a Yoruba, would anything be done in the husband's honour without being involved or informed?

Common, think outside the box devoid of ethnic machination.

Betty is right. State government is wrong with the arrangements without involving the family.
