That's emotive nonsense, England was hampered by very poor team see selection and Southgate unwilling to drop his favourites.

He took a left back Luke Shaw unfit recovering from injury why had no barely played all season. A lethargic and slow Kane never really substitutef and left Watkins and Toney on the bench.

Relax o..
Wetin concern England's 2006 team with Southgate, Shaw, Kane and Watkins?

Relax o

Update on TheGoodJoe

NB: Please kindly put banters aside and take this seriously. Resist also the insensitive temptation to link this to Man City's current run of form. This is no joking matter, I plead

Now, I know a couple of monikers have been asking for weeks now about the whereabouts of TheGoodJoe. Truth is, I didn't want to share anything even though I knew all along what was happening with him and that is because I had not gotten his consent yet to share it (I have that now). He was going through a whole lot healthwise and I kept touch with him from the onset.
I just didn't wanna bring something so sensitive and private without his consent to the thread.

About 2 weeks ago or so, TheGoodJoe suffered a diabetic mini-stroke that really knocked him down. It led to him entering a semi-coma which kept him bed ridden for days but now he is up and fine again and has even been discharged as recently as yesterday.

He is fine but still undergoing serious followup checks with his doctors and more.

Please, kindly channel some of your prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽to TheGoodJoe's health. Pray that this diabetic episode won't see the last of him. It is well. Amen.

In all, TheGoodJoe is sound currently. He can walk again and move around. He couldn't as at several days and weeks back. He is okay but still needs checks to ensure no relapse occurs. We thank God for his Life.

He also wishes you all a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year ahead.
TheGoodJoe I'm glad you are recuperating. I wish you full recovery. May the new year bring you vim and good health

Thank you all for your prayers. 🙏🏽🤝🏻

Iwobi no be Arsenal academy when he made his debut......wetin concern me with PR....PR wey I no do for Awoniyi na Akinsanmiro I go do am for abi....

Do you think I really care about the league status when it comes to eagles, come to eagles and perform if opportunity comes.

Give me Uche Christanus and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro abi no be 3 points we get for our WC qualifiers so far playing Lesotho, Zimbabwe and Benin.
He couldn’t make it to steady Inter Milan B list or bench you want someone still developing to start for the eagles
We shouldn’t drop standards
He’s not near Onyeka, Ndidi, Dele Bashir, Iwobi & Onyedika’s standard.
Iwobi was already playing for Arsenal senior team, please state facts only

When Onyedika got his invitation na he never reach Dem level so tey Peseiro no trust the boy but today sentiment apart he is my number one....Oga na eagles midfield we dey talk wey be say five straight passes na wahala....Oga time to integrate players into the squad.

Alex Iwobi made his debut for eagles October 8,2015 against DR Congo in a friendly match played in Belgium and made his Arsenal first team debut October 27,2015 against Sheffield Wednesday in league cup and made his league debut October 31,2015 replaced Mesut Ozil at a stoppage time......so tell me how many caps Iwobi had for Arsenal senior team before eagles debut.

Now u can c y all fingers is pointing to me as d right candidate 😎

Meanwhile the truth is whether local or foreign , any coach we re going for is a gamble(more of 80percent gamble) forget d skin color ,it all boils down to d players themselves if Dey truly want to go to the World Cup .Take the match seriously nd grind out the needed result we need ..I believe we can qualify. Our first two games in march will determine our fate .it is a must win games.

March is not far again,na February cover am up..nff shld act fast and announce d coach
I agree, whoever we employ is going to be a huge gamble but we can soften it by hiring a tactically sound and accomplished coach

Stop with the obtuse commentaries oga! I said one of the reason's not the main reason plus I was talking about the 2006 WC not any of the recent England squads but your penchant for looking for hasty put downs didn't allow you see that part of my post.

We're entering a new year kindly exorcise that part of your character as we cross over it's no longer amusing.

Should I apologise for overlooking the 2006 WC and making reference to the most recent WC.

England had got to the quarter final of the 2006 world cup before Ronaldo's Portugal knocked them out.

The Idea that at that time 2006 the presence of WAGS contributed to England not winning the world cup is a nonsensical proposition without any substance whatsoever.

In this regard my view remains the same whether it was the World 🌎 cup 2006 and or the most recent WC.

Consequently,no apologies.
