See as Tinubu dey make everyone of them to shalaye because of refineries. Jagaban is the most prepared, courageous and boldest president in the history of Nigeria.

Since the refineries were not sold and the sales were canceled, are they better now?

Have they not spent tripple of that amount of state money on the so called turn around maintenance without a drop of fuel?

Even if OBJ sold them for 1k each and the refineries are managed well by private companies, I am not sure we will be where we are now.

So after spending 8yrs just to 2 days to leaving office that when he realized he needed to sell the refinery??

Some of you were babies when this man was president hence you don't know how corrupt this man was.

If death hadn't snatched Yar'adua from this country, that man would've transformed this country. May his soul rest in perfect peace, amen. 🙏

Yar’Adua cant do shit in just 4-8 years. He can only try, Nigeria needs visionary leaders that will take on developments from the previous administration. We have only few people with fear of God /good intentions to rule this country thats why people like Yaradua comes once in a blue moon and die untimely when dey do. Muritala and Yaradua is a good example

Don't mind them.

The difference between OBJ & BAT is very wide.

OBJ chose to play vindictive politics with his policies.

BAT made his policies known before election.

Atiku was in charge of the privatisation process at the time. That was when he became more stinkingly beyond Obasanjo's imagination so that he refused to let him become president.

The corrupt dude was busy selling & sharing our National asset at cheap dirt price for his own future ROI.
This is how Nigerians reason upside down, Now that the refinery was rescued from "cabals" as you put it, can you please calculate how much Nigeria has lost to TAM(Turn Around Maintenance), Salaries of Refinery Workers producing nothing, Subsidy on imported fuel...... the list is endless
If not for this same Obasanjo, maybe NITEL will still be siphoning Nigerian blood. Infact the problem of Nigeria lies with the unions. Who only seek relevancy with blind opposition only to go and exchange ££££ behind doors.

Nigerians never experienced untold hardship under Obasanjo regime. We only experience it in Tinubu government. Obasanjo policies had a positive impact on the average man on the street unlike your emilokan anti people policies.

Lol.....most of you were babies in 1999-2007.

Go check how many time NLC went on strike during his tenure....no president has beating the record till date.

I don't do lesser evil....Evil is Evil

Obasanjo is still the worst we ever had cos everything was perfect for him to turn this country but he laid the foundation for what we facing today.

Firstly he wanted a third term and when he didn't get it he imposed his own candidate, that was the beginning of everything bad during civilian rule.

Obasanjo remains the most corrupt president in Nigeria’s history. All his dirty deals must be exposed and he must enter his grave in disgrace.
Because idiots from Yoruba land talk down on Obasanjo because of his his criticism of Tinubu’s government, nonentity like you too, who can never in your life be his gateman or even lace his shoes also come online to insult a former General and President who did so well such that he earned international and national respect.
This is one foolish thing about supporters of Tinubu, you guys have no respect. You only pretend when you prostrate to greet and pay lip service but at the back, you are all haters, back bitters and hypocrites.

Yadayada angry

General Sanni Abacha:

1. reduced Nigeria's external debt;
2. stabilized the currency during his regime;
3. etc...

All these doesn't nullify the fact that he's corrupt, ditto for your greedy OBJ.

What of the sanitation of election process. Oshiomole and others became governor because of Yaradua. He would have done far better than Jonathan.

Some of you don’t have understanding of the issue but just abusing OBJ. Did the refineries work for 17 years after he left government, if you know the amount of money that has been spent on those refineries in that period you will weep for this country. And let me tell you the refineries can never work optimally don’t be carried away with propaganda. The PHC refinery that has been claimed to have start operation is over 60 years old what magic will make it economically productive. Time will tell

How can you insult a man like Obasanjo because of a THING like Tinubu.

We don't insult Goodluck Jonathan in my region, he is golden.

Till tomorrow, the oil sector is the most corrupt and dubious and scandalous organisation that's making this country a fantastically corrupt country.

The best would've been privatisation of the refineries and having Atikubas the head of the NCP after Obasanjo must have realised the snake in him would've been a disaster.

The shares sold to Blusters was in the federal coffer so Falanas should not come here to defend a corrupt Atiku.

What part of Falana's take showed that he was defending Atiku? Are you dyslexic, or just generally obtuse?

Assistant Obasanjo, why are you defending Obasanjo? OBJ is alive, I will be happy if he can come out to sue Falana on these allegations?
These are very weighty allegations? Thankfully, both Obj and Atiku are living.

Did Obasanjo sell the refineries at the end of his tenure?

Did he have a stake in the said company?

A just man would never involve in any of these two.

I know the first question was correct because I could remember reading this news as an undergraduate student in Ife then.

As for number 2, he should come out to sue Falana for serious defamation.
