I checked most notable coins all time high in 2021 and some of these all time high prices happened late April/early May.

Can history repeats itself? Are we having or close to all time high of these coins in 4 months time?

I made this post in 2022 when bitcoin was about $19k. I bought them and have been holding ever since and currently up over 400%. I put my money where my mouth is. Life is very unpredictable, just because you started first does not mean you will finish first. There are many people on Forbes Billionaire's list who never imagined they will be billionaires someday but some investment, perfect timing and a stroke of luck may have launched them to heights they never dreamed of. What I'm saying is, just because you may just be discovering crypto now or you've lost so much money in the past does not mean you cannot surpass people who started before you or you cannot rise again and achieve far more than you lost.

Look at at Michael Slayor, the founder and Chairman of Microstrategy. His company started buying Bitcoin in 2020, which was 12 years after Bitcoin was created. But today his company is one of the largest holder of Bitcoin. But there are people who have been in crypto since the early days but they cannot boast of having one Bitcoin to their name. Also remember that Microstrategy stock lost 99.9% of it's value during the 2000 dot com bubble burst, at one point the stock was trading for $0.42 per share; today MSTR is almost $400/share and one of the highest performing stock in 2024. Michael Slayor's net worth is around $8 billion.

I look at life very differently from most people. I see the sun rise and set every day, I see kids running around with all the energy in the world and I see the elderly lying in bed weak. Babies are born and at one point we will all pass on. I've had my lows in life as well as my highs. I've come to understand that life is a rollercoaster by design. You are supposed to have highs and lows it's the very fabric of life. When something or anything goes up for too long its against nature and it has to reverse. Same for when anything goes down for too long. When things are going too good in my life, I worry, it's unnatural and I prepare my mind for the lows. This very mindset helps me deal with the challenges of life. Anything that moves in one direction isn't stable, nature works best with ebbs and flows.

So look at what has happened to you in the past as a necessary part of life. Your highs are in order. It's not always when you started but do you have the vision to believe in something so strongly you literally speak it into existence? I believe Dogecoin will reach $5, you should buy and hold and watch it happen.

Words ! Great Words!!

Thanks man .
I totally agree with your view of life.
Nothing more, nothing less.

"Don't force it"!

When you stare at your charts, and think the market is speaking gibberish, and you're not fluent.

Close that chart, take a nap or do something else. Trust me, there's nothing to see there. The more you stare, the more you'll start seeing imaginary trading setups and we all know how that ends.😂

A dwindling account balance, mood swings here and there, wailing and gnashing of teeth and a case of had I know is not far fetched.

So to save yourself chart-induced insanity, come back when the market decides to make sense again,, opportunities no dey finish. Your sanity (and your account balance) will thank you 😊.

Just flowing with the volume and orderflow. Trading doesn't get simpler than that.
1st one was 2.22×R while the second is 1.98×R, making a 400+% total return in just few hours.

This looks the 30m chart for SolBtc.

First one was like 0.4% : 0.8% while the second was like 0.5:0.9. let's say 1:2 RR sha.

What leverage did you use to gain 200% each? 200x, 250x or 600x?

400% ROI, i.e: if you're risking $100 per trade for example, the two trades would have yielded $400+ in profit.
1st trade returns $220, while the second would have returned $198.

Chief, the truth is if there will be any bull run this year, btw now and May is enough for positive signs.

I also confirmed this your post and saw that most coins reached their all time high btw April/ May. So I believe similar momentorm should surface.

But sol/btc moved by only 1% approximately during those trades (0.8% to be exact).

What amount of leverage did you use to double your capital on a 1% market movement?

I think I can remember you having this same argument two days ago about position sizing and stop placement. Once again, leverage doesn't matter, all that matters is how much are you willing to lose per position, and the adjust the leverage accordingly.

In this case, if $1k is the amount you decides to put at risk, you then adjust the leverage value to be equivalent of it, even if it's 500× leverage.

The trade clearly has an exit price already upon entry which already stands for the liquidation point if gone against, and the take profit is ×2 of the value of the stoploss.
Not everyone trades using your style of setting stoploss.

You obviously don't understand what I'm getting at.

A coin moves by 1% and you make 200% profit but you don't know what leverage you used.

All the best sir.

That leverage should be x100. To get 100% for a 1% move or x200 to get 200% for a 1% move. Both tp and liquidation are in the same zone.

So you understood already what I meant by saying 400%, so why were you disturbing me further with questions that adds little or no value to you Mr PhD trader?

Because it's also possible to make 400% ROI by using above 200x leverage.

Needed to be sure of the magic you performed so I can quickly lambo.

So guys I have been thinking of something .. which I want each and everyone of us to try out if possible.
For over 10 years we saw unprecedented growth on crypto market .. some coins pumped over 100000% during this period,,
so I’m thinking that by the end of this bull run , if we make more than enough , I want to lock up/stake some coins for period of 10 years .
I have these ones in mind-pepe, doge , sol and bnb.. 500$ each, staked for a period of 10 years not minding market volatility during that time .. let’s say on average these coins pump 50000%, that’ll be a massive gains..

I understand that some of the coins or exchanges might collapse before then if unexpected changes or issues happen, it’s just a risk I’m willing to take …

Pls don’t ignore this post, tell me how visible it is before embarking on the journey….

This is an impressive plan. I’ve thought about something like it, but from a different angle. I call it highly impressive because we’re both on the same page, even though our timelines are different. Ten years is a long time, and as we know, things change and pass away. Our plans also differ in one way—I’ve canceled out PEPE and DOGE. Honestly, I couldn’t care less about them since my mentor hates it when I mention any meme coins.

My focus is on SOLANA. By 2026, my goal is to increase my holdings of SOLANA. I plan to buy between $500k and $1M worth of SOLANA and SUI during the next bear market and hold until the parabolic phase of the next cycle. SOLANA is shaping up to be the next big thing after ETH, and market psychology isn’t going to change anytime soon, at least in my opinion.

Here’s how the numbers look for me:

SOLANA

Buy: 20,100 units at $50 = $1,005,000
Sell: 19,000 units at $1,200 = $22,800,000
SUI

Buy: 1,250,000 units at $0.40 = $500,000
Sell: 1,200,000 units at $25 = $30,000,000

This is my plan for the next bear market while using the rest of my capital to explore other opportunities or move money around when the time is right.

My main challenges are that I may not cash out as much capital this time and I might not get these coins at my target prices, so I might end up buying less units at double what I’ve planned.

Ten years is a long time, and a lot will happen. People will come and go. I also want to be young enough to enjoy the rewards of my efforts. Still, holding for 10 years is fine if the capital isn’t urgent or if it’s just a side hustle.

That’s it.
