Trash. All this una propaganda no go work. Remember, this is a government that is built on propaganda.

Tinubu invited those Governors to pay him a visit. He even sent some private jets to pick them in their respective States. The Governors decided to honor his invitation. Since he is the present President of the Country.

Besides, Northerns are not playing bitter politics. Visiting the President does not guarantee free passage of the Yoruba tax bill. If it's that easy, Tinubu won't be kneeling down and begging all Northerners.
He invited them πŸ˜†

Yes Tinubu invited them. He even sponsored their trip from their various States.

You know Tinubu is using every propaganda he can set his hands on to make the public feel like say some Nigerians like him. He knows that the only few people that talk good about him are his online paid agents. That's why he is the only President in the World that have so many media officials.

Where are igbo's standing on this bill

It is to allow the derivative formular, which is a significant restructuring, as that would end the entitlement base mindset the Amalgamation fossilized into the northern brains

Poor northerners the British colonizers numbs their creative senses and made them leeches on southern economy , this seems to go far in adjusting ths strength federalism in the country

And the dark side of the inevitable increase in price of commodities as people were already under excruciating pain of hardship and speeding slopes of poverty

Who will trust a man who is so insensitive to woes of the commoners

If this will benefit tomorrow there has been no single sign of it

Will it make them more wretched and further excarbate their ruined livelihood

Will he go to the North to rig figures there? How will he win the States in the North if the Northern governors gang up against him?
Does he want to become like Buhari who thought he can become a president with Northern votes alone?

Thanks for your response

Please can you be more specific?

Why are there different opinions on the tax reform bill of a thing?

What makes it favorable to tinubu and Lagos?

A specific part of the tax reform bill states that. All companies will pay their tax to the State where their head quarters is located. This means all the Companies in the North and the Banks in the North will only pay their tax to Lagos. Since all their head quarters is located in Lagos.

This is just one amongst the various parts of the bill that only favours Yoruba and Tinubu.

Use subsidy removal to know the effect of the bill to the economy. We were told that subsidy removal will benefit the poor masses we have all seen the efforts.

Only a section of this country support this tax bill because their sense reasoning have been beclouded with tribalism

This hatred and bitterness that your parents planted in you is the reason why you are poor, sad, miserable and suicidal. Just know that even if no human being or spirit supports the Tax Bills, we will still pass the Bills except Godswill Akpabio is not the Senate President, and I am sure that you know that no human or spirit can remove Godswill Akpabio because that is God’s Will

Some people just want to be lazy in life and collect money for doing nothing.

Breast feeding time is up, Northern governors. This bill is getting through, you will all have to man up and start working hard for every drop of milk you ingest.

Shameless people who won't move aside to allow dynamic young northerners to get to the various state houses and give their citizens a better present and future.

Instead of restructuring NIgeria politically to end the imbalance in political representation willfully created by northern military dictators, an imbalance weighing against the southern regions through proliferating undue large number of states and political representation in the old Northern region, President Tinubu is ignoring the big elephant in China shop but chasing rat in Tax Reforms.
No politician living wailed more than Ahmed Bola Tinubu for political restructuring of Nigeria for about 15 years before 2013.
tax reform is the way to go. Let state compete and hustle for investment thereby providing more tax and revenue. That way we can stop this feeding bottle republic where northerners don't want to do anything but want money from other states to be shared to them.

No one trusts the words of a notorious narcotics trafficker, certificate forger, and buccaneering power grabber engaging in criminal state capture.

After the thoughtless removal of fuel subsidy and other 'bolekaja' economic policies imposed by the Tinubu government, we were told that, though the effects would be painful and short-lived, the benefits would be enormous and would primarily aid poor citizens. Now, nineteen months later, Nigerians have witnessed the greatest hunger and starvation ever inflicted upon them by a government in its history.

Now, they are back with a tax reform bill, using the same failed narratives about how it will benefit poor citizens.

Some government-paid agents, BATerians, and mandate supporters, many of whom don't even understand what the bill entails, are busy spreading the falsehood that it's a form of restructuring, even though those who worked on and initiated the bill never used that term.

Poor you
