If the AS couple is not married, they should go their separate ways.

If they are already married, then PGD is an option, but they have to consider the financial and emotional cost, as well as the ethical implications.
Of course, it should be ideally done with IVF, but the cost implication then rises as it might take multiple cycles to get a viable embryo that can then be tested. But the ethical issue then arises if the embryo is tested and is found to have the genetic mutation, meaning it has to be destroyed.

If done without IVF but through natural conception the ethical dilemma is even worse as the woman runs the risk of recurrent pregnancies that then have to be aborted if found to carry the mutation.

In either scenario the potential emotional damage after going through this several times to get one healthy baby, and then doing so several times more for further children, can only be imagined. Not to talk of the draining of resources.

It is possible that MRS takes pump integrity seriously. There are two Mrs stations in my axis and one in particular was known for having the least deviation.

Most dealers settle dpr and Co every month so have no reason to enforce pump integrity unless there is a major show show exercise.

Okada riders and Keke napep know the exact volume of their tank and so can tell who has over adjusted their pump. (there is actually an allowance for pump adjustment by dpr /nmdpra) any station that is seriously patronized by okada and keke has high levels of pump integrity
