I remember when I was talking of administrative issues with the NFF. Some people wanted to kill me. Now see this. Does it mean no communication between the NFF and MC Oran before announcing their coach as the Super Eagles new coach. It feels embarrassing to me. |

TheGoodJoe:Don't let us talk much on this....Chelle and Mc Oran contract had a clause which stated 'a national team job he is free to leave" NFF administrative department did a perfect job using the clause, now left for Chelle and Oran to sort things out. Hope you heard that Libya paid heavy fine for maltreated Benin team, nobody wanna kill you here but telling you the basic truth about what happened between NFF and Libya FA and at the end CAF decision vindicated Nigeria, after that Libya repeat the same thing against Benin. 8 Likes 1 Share |

All may not be well in Napoli. Napoli wants £67M but PSG offering less. Liverpool also showing interest. Man U wants to swap Rashford to get kvara

TheGoodJoe: You read the story but missed the most important part below: There appears to be a clause in Chelle's contract that allows him to leave if offered a national team position. 1 Like |

Kog45: Nothing vindicated NFF. Libya was guilty from the start and I never in anyway attributed Libya's action to Nigeria. My point was an administrative issue. Concerning Chelle, please it is not a perfect job. Things should have been ironed out with Mc Oran before the announcement. Diplomacy is not too much to ask. |

For now, we wait. Let the dust clear. I believe by now we should have had a press conference from Eric Chelle as the Super Eagles manager. I truly hope the article is just a sensational headline as one pointed and also NFF doing a perfect job. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:26am |
Eric Chelle is expected to terminate his two-year contract with Algerian club MC Oran ahead of his anticipated move to Nigeria but the club won’t decide his fate yet, even while he is expected in Nigeria to formalise his contract, PUNCH Sports Extra reports. https://punchng.com/algerian-club-delay-chelles-contract-termination/#google_vignette Going by this, I feel the NFF jumped the gun with their announcement. They should have finalized the contract before announcing. I hope it all works out because I have already mentally accepted Eric Chelle as the one to direct the Super Eagles to a new direction. |

Chelle will be the sacrificial lamb if Nigeria fails to qualify for world cup ....NFF too wise |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Kog45(m): 11:33am |
TheGoodJoe:What administrative issue are you talking about....you accused NFF of administrative lapses on Libya lies and at the end CAF ruling vindicated NFF,so what's your point. On Chelle,do NFF need to iron things out with Oran?the clause is there to see and they capitalized on it,left for Chelle and Oran to sort things out. 1 Like 1 Share |

minfelix: It is on Punch. Punch is not a blog and from the look of things, Eric Chelle has not signed his contract. That means he is not yet our coach. Is there something I am missing? 1 Like |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:03pm |
Kog45: First of all, my point on Libya was about an NFF internal administrative/diplomatic issue, which I saw lapses and believe we can do better. It has nothing to do with the actions of Libya. If you can understand the bolded, you will know that CAF ruling has no relation to my point made. My point was that we could be more diplomatic and assisting. CAF ruling was on the poor treatment metted out on us by Libya. How can you relate them? On Chelle's case, NFF announced Mc Oran's coach as ours, when he has not terminated his contract with them. How you can't see something wrong in that is also baffling. Unless there is information missing, Eric Chelle is still Mc Oran's coach. He has not terminated his contract with them and he has not signed for us. Why is the NFF announcing him as our coach? They should have concluded with all parties, Chelle sign the contract, then announce him. |

Kog45:What was Westerhof's achievement before his appointment? Berti Voight won Euro for Germany, Lagersback took Sweden to the world cup yet both had forgettable stints with us. My point is that there is no guarantee for anything oo. Known or unknown quantity as a coach is a matter of who comes in and performs. 3 Likes |
