You didn't mention that Aliou Cisse did not make it past the group stage at the 2018 WC, and lost to Algeria at the 2019 AFCON final.

Does Chelle have a better track record than these guys?

AFCON WINNER
WORLD CUP SEMIFINALIST
CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WINNER

Let's be honest guys, Eguavon himself is not confident of topping that WCQ group as the coach.
Granted he won a couple of matches, but we know he usually crumbles when it matters most.

I'm not interested in Nigeria qualifying for the WC. What I want is to see us make progress in football, have a good system in place, play good football.

I'm not a fan of Chelle but I have studied what he did with Mali a very poor country.
Let's give him a chance. If he underperforms, we fire him. Simple.

Ninety percent of the players listed here will not make the actual list.
This is an indomie list.
Name the players you think should be on the list, let's see.
In that way you contribute, u make your opinion and back it up with proof.
Until then, your derision and diminishment of the list remains obsolete .

Nothing good about the letter. Headless arrogance: Nigeria as "giant" of Africa.
Why do our brethren from the west like belittling other Africans?

As we speak, Nigeria is a crumbling entity, not even among the top 3 economies on the continent.
Our teams struggle to qualify for group stage of CAF CC. Our league is crap. The football administrators are bunch of thieving politicians.

Why do we still stymie our progress by retaining this retrogressive colonial mentality that it must be a white man?
Why did we go round Finidi, Eguavon and now Chelle in the first place? Because Amunike must not be the head coach due to his ethnicity.

I am not a fan of Chelle but I want Africans especially my brethren from the West to desist from this embarrassing infighting within us. We have a host of brilliant minds on the continent. It must not be a white man please!!!
.

Baba your point(s) is(are) well noted.

😂 you are right. But for Finidi I was against heis appointment from the start, his speech just added to my conviction. I love Enyimba as a club so I do watch some of their matches and what I saw with Finidi being at the helm of affairs I knew he wasn't ready for SE job.
He was not ready at all. Total lack of confidence.

Amunike not securing SE job have nothing to do with his ethnicity, that's a lame comment. But I feel the NFF don't want to hire Amunike due to some other reasons which has nothing to do with his ability. Maybe he's seen as another Oliseh who's not cool headed.
I listen to an interview of the former nff boss, and he was saying that there are so many things that happen with our indigenous coach which he don't want to mention. And from his tone sound unhappy with finidi, saying he resigned few days to an important match.

Ball control, passing, defending, dribbling, shooting, heading are all skills, maybe leg over is the only skills you know which even modern football have done away with. The focus is more on ball control and passing.
CR7 became even more fierce when he reduce the step over
I don't think I've seen Messi doing leg over or rabona before, rarely.
You agreed that Ronaldinho is the most skillful player of all time.

Now,these questions for u.

1.Why does the world think Ronaldinho is the most skillful footballer?

2.Is it by doing these basic things like heading, shooting, defending, passing and ball control u listed here as skills better than others?

3.Or is it by executing something else more technically challenging and tricky on the pitch?

The referee cautioned him and he was substituted around 41st minute.

Ebenezer Akinsanmiro was racially abused in Italy over the weekend, when his club scored he went in front of the fans to act like a monkey, the referee gave him a yellow for provocation then his coach removed him so that he won’t get another yellow 🤦🏿. Knowing Italy the fans won’t be punished

Stephen Keshi and Christian Chukwu must be Yoruba then. How many indigenous coaches have we even had in the past 20 years to justify being this cynical?

Nigeria is not a giant sha. I agree with that one.

Story. Amunike's case is pure ethnicity. They know he is good. If Amunike was a Northerner or Yoruba man, he would have landed that job in a flash. Let us tell ourselves the truth. That was why his U17 team was the most sabotaged and his U20 suffered the same. That was why they had a cold reception after winning the U17 World Cup.

Unless you have a credible reason, I only see his ethnicity as the problem.

Stephen Keshi suffered serious sabotage. A very bad one. The man literally suffered working for the Super Eagles. Imagine having a sack letter prepared during the AFCON.

Keshi's case was success despite of tumultuous negativity.

You can make your point without adding "useless talk". If you disagree with my opinion, make your point than saying Mtcheew. I have given my reason. Clear massive sabotage of Amunike's projects. The facts are clear as day light. Sending the players to a world cup without kits and allowances. Without winter coats. Having the his U20 players in camp without food and allowances for long into the qualifiers and putting on a bad pitch that hindered their playing style.

These are facts without any condescending remark.

Drop facts please.

Picking a less qualified Finidi over Amunike was a joke too far.

They have just put Eric Chelle supervisor of the CHAN team. That blows your point to the water.
