See what hope is doing to his people because of security votes. You guys don’t know hope at all. If you oppose hope in imo state he won’t come for you but your traditional rulers. Hope knows about all these atrocities. |

Some of the commentators here are yet to understand the dynamics of southeast politics and those behind it. The killings in southeast is state sponsored and by those who do not wish progress and orderly development of the region. It started from Buhari era. This was when hopeless Hope Uzodinma was installed The Governor of the state in the year 2020. He didn't win election. He came distance 4th. Current Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kekekere Ekun was used in the evil plot. She infamously announced Uzodinma winner of election he came fourth. This was done to spite Igbo and set the tone for crisis. By 2020, there was no APC controlled state in the region. Buhari was not comfortable and wanted a state in the region that carries banner of APC. Imo state was chosen. And Hope Uzodinma was chosen to do the hatchet job of aligning the people of the state to join kUTUWENCHI controlled federal government in Abuja. Ever since then,no peace in Imo state. Abuja was fuelling crisis in the state, using known and unknown actors to perpetuate crime in the state and Alaigbo generally. Hope Uzodinma was using Simon Ekpa as a willing tool in the crime. It's unfortunate Tinubu don't have the ball to break this chain of confusion by releasing Nnamdi KANU to come and stabilize the situation. Unofficially,we are told that he had pack with northern leaders that the only way they could support his candidacy was not to release Nnamdi KANU. And by his body language, many tend to believe this pact. Until Tinubu does the right thing by releasing Nnamdi KANU from the detention and grant him state amnesty, the trouble and killings in southeast will continue. State has a ✋ hand in it! 1 Like |

Krankhead: Your own is to open your stinking mouth waaaah and to try and make political capital out of any insecurity you hear of in the south-east! A heinous crime occurs in the south-east and a so called ‘fellow Nigerian’ says: ‘it’s a family affair…Igbo killing Igbo…e no concern me’! But this same schmuck will NEVER support any call for secession, or anything that will threaten the continued existence of his ATM! The very definition of rank hypocrisy and speaking from both sides of the mouth! Every day, my opposition to the continued existence of Nigeria continues to be justified! |

Every idiot is here opening his or her nasty mouth and talking trash. Your government is fueling insecurity in the land but you fools are so stupid and gullible to understand what's going on. Have you ever asked yourself what your governors do with the so-called security votes they collect monthly? No wonder they treat you like FOOLS because they know you're too dumb to reason for yourself, hence you parrot their talking points. 1 Like |

membranus:What's your level of education? I want to know because you sound half baked and crass illiterate. Government is a continuum. If Buhari arrested him and has left Office, the incumbent has statutory role to play in adjudication of the case. That's why I am question your level of education and intelligence. Tinubu can make pronounment on the matter because he is the president. Illiteracy is a disease! 1 Like |

Umuinyioku: A brilliant reading of the situation! The only thing i’ll add is to say they wanted a house-nigger in Imo that they could control so they could have easy and unfettered access to the huge gas deposits in the state without question! Can anyone tell me exactly how the exploitation of gas reserves in Imo state has positively reflected on the states’ accounts and income!? I’ve always said that had this huge gas reserves been in Iragbiji or Daura, the Nigerian gov’t would have long since ensured gas is included in the 13% derivation to producing states! These are the things our useless Igbo political elite ought to have been speaking up about and fighting for, but they’re saying nothing….and this is why the hegemonic alliance wanted a malleable and compliant governor installed in Imo state! If they could have removed the gas fields of Imo and placed in Rivers state like they did with Egbema in ‘67, they’d have done it in a heartbeat, but unfortunately for them that wasn’t an option! ![]() |

IGBOPROMISE1:Yes, well said 💯 The gas angle. This skipped my mind. Thanks for the reminder. Hope Uzodinma is a stooge of federal establishment. Doing their biddings. The killings in southeast is minuses to whatever political ambition they have. They should respect sanctity of human life. As it's, southeast is killing field, effectively stigmating all means of development. The new leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo should wade into the crisis rocking the region. Many believe releasing Nnamdi KANU will check lawlessness and bloodletting in the region. Because many of the actors are claiming they are fighting for Nnamdi KANU's freedom. Let's see how things pan out. 1 Like |
