The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has blasted Nigerians, saying the sufferings in the country are the result of the bad choices made during the 2023 elections.

DAILY POST reports that Apostle Suleman was in Bauchi State for a two-day “Recovery Conference 2025”.

Before the mega crusade, he visited the Government House in Bauchi, where he met with the Executive Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed.

Accompanied by his entourage, including senior pastors like Dr. Kingsley Aigbe, Apostle Suleman commended the Governor for his leadership and hospitality, describing him as a man of honour.

He assured the Governor of his continued prayers for the leadership and people of Bauchi State.

However, when asked by journalists during an interview session at the Government House to express his view on the situation in the country, Suleman berated Nigerians for their voting choices.

What Nigerians are going through is partly what they deserve. Before the election, we cried out, we screamed, we yelled.

The man (President Bola Tinubu) who came into leadership had no manifesto— just a sense of entitlement with his ‘it’s my turn’ mantra,” he declared.

He lamented the state of the nation under Tinubu’s administration, pointing to policies and the devastating mismanagement of the oil sector.

"The oil sector has been plundered. In the next 10 to 15 years, I don’t think Nigerians will recover from the damage. Now, all we can do is pray,” he stated.

He also called for Nigerians to reflect on their choices ahead of the 2027 elections, warning, “If they’ve suffered enough by then, perhaps they’ll make better decisions.

Also speaking, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, warned that the policies being implemented by President Bola Tinubu, if not checked, were capable of destroying the fortunes of the country.

The governor explained that he did not have any personal grudge against President Tinubu in view of his constant criticisms of the policies of the Federal Government.

Tinubu’s policies don’t have a clear vision and are taking us to the road to perdition and destruction.

That is why when I talk about the tax reforms it is not because I don’t want reform but I want reform that will have national impact. I don’t have anything against the president but respect,” he said.

Mohammed maintained that he would not be tired of pointing out the shortcomings of President Tinubu as long as Nigerians continue to be short-changed by his policies and programmes.

Apostle Suleman blaming Nigerians for their tough situation by pointing out poor choices during the 2023 elections. Voters ignored warnings and went for leadership without a clear plan, which he believes has led to the current struggles.

We warned, warned, and re-warned.

The signs were so evidently clear that Tinubu had no plans.

The so-called "Renewed Hope" manifesto they hurriedly put together, claiming that it was the magic wand to propel this country into economic growth and prosperity, had stolen childhood pictures of the former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke.

The "Emilokan" mantra was just a mantra of entitlement...nothing more, nothing less.

Today, Nigerians are being subjected to extreme hardships, hunger, and starvation never before witnessed in the history of this country.

To be honest during that election, alot of sensitization to enlighten majority of Nigerians esp the many illiterates on d danger of voting based on religion and ethnicity was massively done. Nigerians seemed to have gotten smarter. Unfortunately we were outsmarted by high class criminality and an abysmal electoral system.
Though there are still lots of ground to cover in terms of reversing d trend of voting based on religion and tribe by slower Nigerians, the tax bill shud overtime force d hand of the northern govts to address this overpopulating Nigeria with humans that cannot be taken care of or fed. Its terrible.

For the fact that that some people have the mind to vote in the same APC despite the performance of the last government, they truely deserve it

Zombies deserve to suffer

When an evilman is in authority
the people suffer

This is the word of God

Zombies defend evil everyday
Go to the thread where telecoms raised their tariff by 60% , you will see hungry zombies from the waste defending evil meted against them because of tribalism and bigotry

Well the people who voted in or assisted in giving power to their oppressors must reap the fruits of their labour

They said the regime will favour them but they've suddenly hidden themselves

Old Venza is 19 million
Old corolla is 5 million
Foodstuffs and other basic necessities very expensive

Poverty unleashed on the masses

Do you remember when Yoruba's were known for education?
Do you remember when Yoruba's were not known for rituals?
In the past, Yoruba's may be one of the more
"upright" tribes in Nigeria.

This may be Obafemi Awolowo's leadership impact.

It is not about insulting one tribe or the other. If any tribe is failing, let them repent.
