This has nothing to do with Trump but Biden. Biden had been the one giving the bombs and money to Israel that kept the war on Gaza on. He did it for political reasons and because he underestimated Hamas.

If Biden had not kept giving bombs and money to Netanyahu even after he proposed this same cease-fire last year, the war would not have lasted this long.

Biden is no longer willing to give bombs and money to Israel with the threat by Russia and China and after his party lost the election.

It's PM Netanyahu who eventually agreed to Hamas. Biden and Trump told him to finish off Hamas but after 15 months, it's increasingly clear that Isreal can't finish off Hamas.

So who is deceiving who? 15 months of war with US-backed Isreal yet Hamas is still in charge of Gaza.

Isreal and US lost the war. A tiny Hamas forced Isreal and US/ Biden to accept its terms after Isreal and US couldn't defeat them militarily! Like Taliban like Hamas, they dragged Isreal and US into long war that exhausted Isreal and US. Israelis are the ones used to good life and are even having serious mental health problems arising from the daily 3a.m missiles fired from Yemeni Houthis.

Have you seen the 4 stages of the ceasefire agreement? If you did and still say this, then something is wrong somewhere.

Apart from the first stage of the ceasefire, the remaining stages depends on Israel's discretion if it is satisfied with the previous stage to continue the next one per time. Essentially, Israel is the one controlling the ceasefire.

Lastly, there's no agreement as to whether it is hamas that will govern gaza. So hamas is only in charge of gaza in hiding as they've been in the last 15 months.
Don't know where you got the detail in the ceasefire hamas is the one to govern gaza.

There's already crisis building up because this was the same agreement President Biden offered in May last year but was rejected by PM Netanyahu because both of them thought they would finish off Hamas. That they had to come back and sign that agreement was victory for Hamas. The issue is not about the inferior military might of Hamas against Isreal and US, it's the fact that they were not defeated military. Gaza will be administered by Hamas.

Hamas is the democratic choice of the people of Gaza. Any group outside Hamas will not have legitimacy and this will be another rude shock to many of you. Hamas didn't sacrifice so much for nothing. Hamas has always been the underdog in this war but if anyone had told US and Israel that Hamas would sustain an intensive battle for this long, they would never believe it.

War has never been a solution and I believe all the warring sides should sheathe their swords after the prolonged war.

Running a place and political authority are two separate matters.
