Hi House,

Please would connecting my 2 x 335 watt panel in series increase amps generated beyond 20 amps as against connected in parallel ?

Using 40 amps MPPT CC.

When you connect your panels in series, you are increasing the Voltage and not the amps. But when you connect in parallel, you are increasing the amp; in this case the amps from your panels are added up to give an increased current from your panels.

A reasonable panel with a good mppt will surely shoot above 20a. However, confirm your max voltage at 12v on ur cc first. Is the 150v max at 12v ?

Yes bro max v is 150v.

Maybe it is due to the dusty weather.

I just want to maximize and get like 30 amps.

I would have added another 350 watt panel but don’t know if the 40 amp CC with max vol of 150v can handle it provided I don’t exceed the 150v max voltage.

What brand is ur cc?
If truly your 12v is 150v max then wait a bit for clearer sky. Dusty atmosphere is messing up solar big time. To me, your pv is okay as you will definitely get above your present 20a. Do a little wash during this period for a fair difference too.

Good evening bosses

Kindly recommend reliable AC/DC non rechargeable standing fan.
The two I've bought so far had rotation issues few months after purchase

take it back to cworth

I contacted one of their technicians and he said the battery is okay....that it's normal for batteries to discharge except the system shuts down itself....

Really, I was thinking of getting one. Had Prag pencilled down as a contender. Others are Jody Ele & AE Dunamis.

If you don't mind what happened? It just stopped working or ...

To our experts or experienced people in the house,
are all mppt in our hybrid inverters created equal. Are there brands that are known for effective & efficient charging.

I ask because the rate & efficiency of charge I experienced using growatt inverter appears to be better. Any thoughts on this

Some hybrids are inbuilt pwm while some are advance pwm. Few known brands are real mppt.

Different brands like Deye, Growatt, SRNE, TBB Power, Huawei etc use different internal components and charging algorithms for their MPPT. Infact, some brands like the Voltronic/Axpert range of inverters have a known float bug that affects the charging algorithm of their mppt. Some of these issues are fixed by firmware updates but for the most part yes there can be a difference. If your moving from a previous budget tier to a Growatt, ofcourse there is a noticeable difference, however, there are several other premium brands out there too that give the Growatt a run for their money.

Off course, MPPT pass MPPT....
Some MPPT waster so much power during conversion, because the Buck converters have different grades.

Growatts na better Soup... I have tested some Hybrid MPPT and was surprised to see power wastage.

Are the mppt in sako inverters reliable?

They are reliable, however, 30-400V MPPTs, are less efficient compared to 120-450V ones

If the BMS came with a battery pack reach out to the seller/builder of the battery pack.

But if you got the BMS separately consider reaching the store for the password change chances are it was changed from 1234

Sad... it should still be under warranty (8 months) Have you reached out to the company?

For info, does it come with an inbuilt surge protection device and earthing connection?

TBB Power has been popping up lately on the forum, do you have info on how to get a distributor?

I thought growatt & srne were some kind of voltronic/axpert system albeit modified.

I went from Growatt to Sako. My experience is that my old growatt charges better. The Sako is still serving well though. But I only wish it would give me the growatt efficiency which I experienced.

I will check if there is a firmware update for the inverter.
