1. Nissan products.

2. Ford/Some Honda products.

3. Run from benz. Except you want to show off.

The most reliable car brands are Toyota and Honda products

The topic is irrelevant because most people will comment base on personal experience maybe with the wrong car or the wrong mechanic.

So it doesn’t hold water. One way to determine it is the number of the cars on the roads for years. If a brand came in and disappeared after some years it might it not suitable in the environment or the technical know how or the brand is not good.

I've used BMW e46 for over 15 years with no major repairs. I drive it from Warri to Kaduna and back, ones every two to three months. Most of the parts are very cheap and durable.

Avoid extremely new generation cars if your pocket never strong. Stick to cars local mechanics can repair with ease. Same for any other thing else.

Avoid anything that is not Toyota 4 plugs for a start, do not say that you were not informed.

If you make it then you can go for Lexus and benz

Just make sure u do maintenance as instructed.

Be realistic...a first timer would be a novice. Also, most Kazeems only work on Japanese brands. A first timer should simply get a Japanese brand until he becomes knowledgeable about cars. Having an obd2 scanner doesn't guarantee that all your car problems are solved..it's just to guide and direct you towards a symptom and likely culprit. Residual knowledge and a lil of YouTube videos or Forums..is still necessary.

Baba volkswagen is the best car for a first timer am using a volkswagen golf 3 very rugged, fuel efficient, I use 3litre of fuel for 28-30kilomitre from my hus to work every day, parts are very cheap and no electrical issues at all I have been using mine for years plus now
