Gadafii:
how much do you pay your doctors?

Do you provide enabling environments for them to practice?

Are the hospitals well equipped?

Is the govt prioritizing doctors like other countries do?

Why do you owe your doctors salaries for month?

Doctors are humans too, some of them use their personal money to run few things in the hospital, above all they still get owed salaries for month.

But here you are opening your mouth waaa like a donkey blaming doctors, when you should direct the blames to the very govt that have bastardized all of our institutions
They should quit If they are not ready to work,we don't need them if they will continue killing people
Majority of the dead this days are being killed by the doctors, majority of UCH now rely on student doctors because the professional ones are too proud to come to work or attend to people.
Let them go abroad and stop collecting money from the government for nothing
Use their personal money to run what? People that won't even be available?

Wike doesn't do projects that he doesn't get billions in kick back.
How much is he going to get from buying scan machines or laboratory equipment?
No,it has to be roads and bridges.
The same thing he did in Port Harcourt.
When Amaechi was governor, there is no sector,I mean absolutely no sector he didn't touch.
Wike came and neglected everywhere and was only using flyover bridges to deceive the gullible.

That is why we have ministries of health to ensure doctors do their jobs.

Public hospitals has become a slaughter house because this people won't even come to work and even if they do the won't attend to people, most of them has or work at private hospital but still collect money from the government leaving the masses to the hand of student doctors.

You really believe they are being owed 6 months salaries?

Why not? It's very common for "state" govts to owe salary for months.

During my housemanship,I was owed 8 months salary by Rivers State govt.
My colleagues in Akwa Ibom didn't get theirs until 6 months

By the time that money was paid, most of us were in huge debts

Na now una dey make sense, when you speak truth to these greedy, wicked selfish people in power, face them face to face, they will know u are serious.they have so much destroyed and abandoned many of these facilities by not funding or upgrading them, leaving the ordinary Nigerians to depend on miracles while using these hospitals.what a wicked, heartless system

The doctor themselves are more corrupt than the government, they are killing hundreds of people daily by their bad attitudes towards work, something they can not do when they get abroad.
Go to our public hospital, those doctors are getting salaries for nothing
They can complain about the government but they themselves don't deserve what they are getting paid
Government need to provide them all they want but also create a task force to monitor them, they are not working.

The reason doctors exhibit uncooperative behavior is largely due to the fact that their wages are often delayed for several months. Ironically, the government ultimately pays them for subpar work, as the delays compromise the quality of care they can provide.

What about the politicians that keep getting medical cares abroad while neglecting the health care systems, leaving it to rot away?

In this same Nigeria doctors are owed for several months is the one doctor's are paid for nothing?

How old are you?

I am not aware that house officers are employee of govt.FCTA cannot owe doctors six months salaries it's not possible. What they may be referring to arrears from salary adjustments or other things.Unions in Nigeria usually put out bogus claims to the public in order to justify strike actions.I no longer take our labour unions seriously in this country. They are usually greedy and use sentiments to make govt give in to policies that are injurious to the nation.Resident doctors want govt to sponsor them overseas for residency,is that not absurdity?Yes it was done years ago and the Nigerian state nv benefitted from it.Resident doctors want $2k per month, because that's what is close to what their counterparts in the west earns.

“If we are ready to fix the healthcare system in this country, I would think that every government official must use the government hospitals. Let’s start with that,”

Over the decades, medical practioners and associations have been asking political leaders to use local facilities for their healthcare needs but no, at the slightest headache, they are in US, UK, France etc. The question is simple: if the US president is usually treated in a foreign hospital, what confidence will the citizens have on medical facilities in the US? (Let's not even begin to talk of security concerns).

“The minister has been very busy with projects, fixing roads, and all of that.

Why do politicians find it easy to do roads than improve on healthcare and education?

Will they ever pass such bill, Nigeria is drowning gradually, I believe in no distance time all regions will be begging for separation and there will be so much anarchy that even the ruling class cannot live comfortably in 9ja again. They created a monster for dark days to creep in and it will consume a lot of them cos every sector is neglected and deteriorating, from the security sector, judiciary, health, education etc

Where are those senseless people praising Tinubu and Wike. They should tell their masters to make use of the hospital. Instead of them to improve the facilities in different sectors, they where busy approving baseless and useless Bola Ahmed Tinubu Polytechnic . In what use?
