All the aforementioned players started at an academy somewhere especially Eto'o whoes youth career is well documented at Real Madrid Castila. Even Drogba although a late bloomer played for a youth academy. I am not going to make excuses for Jackson but almost all footballers must start somewhere. Either at the youth academy or a local side. Jackson played for a local youth side in Senegal before joining the juvenile Villarreal side aka Villarreal B.
