The North Will Determine If President Tinubu Gets A Second Term by FreedomfromtheT: 9:35pm On Jan 24
The Muslim North were instrumental to the controversial emergence of President Tinubu in 2023 as the president of Nigeria.
However, they seem to have become disillusioned.
From indications, majority of the Muslim North are currently not happy with hiim.
They largely view his policies with suspicion or as outrightly anti-North.
The vast majority of Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion, religion or party affiliation are complaining due to the policies of the present APC Tinubu administration.
So his best bet is the crude politics of divide and rule - demonstate that you love some Nigerians more than others. Those that feel loved especially those who hate the marginazed easily thus fall for the manipulation.
IMO and obviously, president Tinubu has shown barefacedly that his government is Yoruba first, some others, second, the North third and the despised Southeast last.
The only way to have a remote chance of unsitting president Tinubu is through a united opposition.
If the North presents a fellow northerner as the candidate of the opposition, Tinubu will whip up the regional " it is the turn of the South" sentimental card and he will win in conjunction with part of the North central because as seen before the core North alone cannot produce the president despite their population.
The only way to unsit president Tinubu in my opinion, is to support another southerner with an overwhelming support and agreement with the North.
Of course, the North knows what to do if the new Southern president disappoints as they did in 2015 in conjunction with the Southwest.
But should the North allow president Tinubu to get a second term when he would not need any more votes from anyone, the crying now of the North I think would turn to bitter wailing because he would not care by then.
I expect the president and his handlers to keep telling the North that it would remain just 4 more years and that he will hand over to them.
But from the president Tinubu's current body langin my candid opinion, judging from his body language, you never can tell if the North will recover from the policies he would radically engineer if allowed to have his way of winning a second term in office.
A word is enough for the wise North.

The main opposition in North are Core North West people. Inside that same North West, the likes of Southern Kaduna ( New established government facilities) and reasonable number of the christian in North would fall in line with this government. Infact in the same Northwest, na to just sponsor 2 popular candidates from the region to scatter the votes.

North Central have been an ally for long, we are still keeping the friendship

The vice president is from North East, even if the likes of Atiku emerged from there, votes would be dragged.

Wike, Akpabio and more defection from South South would secure the votes in the region

South West is already in the bag, the rest of the votes, we don't need it.

For the first time that we have a president who doesn't care about cabals either from South or North but here our people are still hoping on the same North for help to unsit a southern president.
Nevertheless, Tinubu has decided on his method of rulling so he is ready for whatever consequences

Tinubu has succeeded in breaking the hegemony of the North. The Middle Belt will vote for him massively because they've not experienced this level of relative peace they have now for more than the past 20years. His body language and actions security-wise has been favourable to them. Tinubu's vote will come mainly from SW, MB, some part of NE and SS. And he'll soon get PDP under his control so much Atiku won't appear as their flag bearer. I hope he'll be wise enough to change the current INEC chairman or else he'll betray him. The north think they understand "dirty" politics; Tinubu will teach them the politics they do not know.

If Tinubu wants a second term (and you can be 99.99% sure he does) he will simply have the officials write the results in his favour, Wike-style

There's nothing anybody can do about it, except to get shot and buried secretly, which isn't gonna affect the electoral figures in any way either positive or negative

It is the Hausa of Northern Nigeria who will determine Tinubu's second term
Not Fulani

And in return Tinubu will handover to a Hausa man

Listen and listen good.
Tinubu has already won the 2027 election. The question now is who will Tinubu handover to in 2031.

Mbah needs re-election, Uzodinma needs post-office relevance, Soludo needs federal appeal. They will be falling over themselves on who will give him the highest votes.

As it stands, the Middle Belt Christians want it and they are staunchly behind Tinubu as at today.
The Muslim Hausas have started having issues with the Fulanis. They want Federal power and they are courting Tinubu.

Have you ever seen ANY of the SS Governors say anything against Tinubu?

Add INEC and federal power to this, and all your petty gods in Igboland can't stop Tinubu in 2027. You will cry rigging and nothing will happen.

Tinubu will win and you will either be looking for server like 2019, be looking for certificate like 2023 or be looking at judiciary as usual.

OP, I am an unapologetic Peter Obi supporter, but Tinubu will win 2027 Presidential election if God keeps him alive and healthy till then.

Let me be honest with you, Bola Tinubu is very good in playing Nigeria's dirty politics. His ownership of Lagos state cemented his grip on Nigeria's politics. So long as Lagos state is in Tinubu's pocket, Tinubu will control Nigeria as he wishes.

If you want to destabilize Nigeria, just destabilize Lagos state.

If you want to destabilize any Nigerian federal government, capture Lagos.

Now to your argument, Tinubu have succeeded in dismantling Northern political influence. Tinubu has retired all the influential Northern politicians that poses a threat to him in 2027. Atiku is just a corpse waiting for burial, he does not have any weight again, he missed his time in 2019.

Peter Obi's influence is dying down, the youths wanted a radical change in 2023 and they followed Peter Obi massively, reason Peter Obi won that 2023 Presidential election but Tinubu was so daring, so brave and prepared he snatched it and ran away without consequences because the sitting President was just confused on who to support; Buhari wanted Ahmed Lawan, but El Rufai, Aisha Buhari his wife and some close allies worked on him to let the power remain in APC than slip into PDP's hands if the APC ticket is handed to Ahmed Lawan, from then, Buhari allowed Tinubu to have his way.

So that rare opportunity Peter Obi had, that Obidient wave cant repeat again because Nigerian youths have seen that voting alone cant produce President of Nigeria, INEC, Judiciary and the incumbent President decides who wins at the end, so many Nigerians that voted Peter Obi wont waste their time and energy again because they know that Peter Obi cant fight the war that comes after the election to secure their vote, so they wouldn't want to risk it, meaning Peter Obi will have fewer votes than he had in 2023 if he runs again of which he wont run anyway.

Once Tinubu declares for 2027, he will win, not necessarily by votes, but by brazen rigging (he is installing the rigging mercenaries already) and nothing will happen, the North will be confused and calm waiting for their own turn come 2031 to revenge whatever that happened between 2023 to 2031.

How the election result will go if Tinubu runs under APC, Atiku under PDP.

Tinubu will win SW landslide
Tinubu will get above 20% in NW
Tinubu will get above 28% in NE
Tinubu will get above 25% in SS
Tinubu will get above 28% in MB
Tinubu will get 10 to 15% in SE

Atiku will win NE
Atiku will slightly win NW
Atiku will get above 20% in SE
Atiku will get above 20% in SS
Atiku will get less than 15% in SW
Atiku will get less than 20% in MB

At the end, Tinubu will win by massive rigging.

The only way the election can prove difficult for Tinubu in 2027 is if Northern Nigeria make a decisive decision on time and rally their top political big weights like Atiku, Kwankwaso, El Rufai, etc to come to a round table and join one party and then swallow their pride and fully support Peter Obi with an agreement of one tenure.

Then they present Peter Obi as flagbearer and Kwankwaso as Vice.

If they can do this before mid 2026, and start massive campaign against Tinubu and his failing government in core north using pure Hausa radio channels, Mosques, etc, that is the only way Tinubu can be challenged and the only way to make the rigging very difficult for Tinubu, anything less, Tinubu will win landslide, and I dont see those Northern guys with overbloated ego coming together and rallying behind Peter Obi, so in summary, Tinubu is winning a reelection come 2027, Nigerians should prepare for it.
