Help!!! I Am A 31-Year-Old Struggling With Tramadol Addiction!! by Ehismarkninetee: 11:31am On Jan 25 |
I was introduced to Tramadol in 2015 because I complained to him that I wasn’t lasting long during sex. So he prescribed Tm to me. At first I hated the feeling I just took it because it really helped with the early ejaculation. Fast forward to 2020; I am now fully attended to this evil, it is now holding me by my neck, choking me . But I cannot seem to let go. Tramadol has taken a lot from me; My pride, my focus, my Looks, my health, my family and most importantly my finances. I have had serious seizures that nearly took my life with my family members as witness. Now they know my situation and they are indeed very disappointed in me. I had another seizure yesterday but the worst part of it is that it wasn’t only the seizure, I was acting demented with my clothes off. I take nothing less than 1500mg daily. It has ruined everything because just calculate how much I have to spend for this evil everyday. For example I didn’t miss one last year 2024. It seems am now powerless to this evil. I cannot hustle anymore, I just want to take Tramadol and just lock myself indoors, all my friends have left me behind but am still living with my mum at age 31. Indeed am tired. Am really tired I need help to stop this. I have prayed, I have tried everything. It’s not working. Please has anyone been in the situation before?? Please help me!!!!! 59 Likes 12 Shares

Chai... I pray God heals Ur addiction. I was using trams back in 2015/16 regularly mostly for the fvck of it and I got really hooked although I never liked the morning after feeling I still wouldn't stop it but one thing about me no matter how I use something it never controls me. It's rather the other way round. So I'm always able to put a complete stop. TM had it's last use on my system when I was faced with a very big juicy yansh and tight kuntus in a hotel room and I couldn't perform because of overuse. I had about 1750G in my system that particular night and unlimited alcohol, weed and energy drinks. I was actually banging her like clockwork until she blurted out I should please cum as she's hurting and that was it my mind disconnected and my dick went temporarily dead. The btich did everything, sucked and all but nothing. That was when I decided it's time I stopped and since then I haven't gone back to that shiii. But U seem to be controlled by it so I pray U find strength and a real reason to quit it and going by Ur story there's enough reasons except U no value Ur life sha. 167 Likes 12 Shares |

Tramadol... I nearly got addicted to that thing last year... I got it as a prescription from the doctor and at first, I also hated the feeling after taking it... Hallucinations, dizziness, feeling hot, constipation, having stomach cramps whenever I was hungry... I eventually stopped taking it because I couldn't deal with all those side effects. But something happened and I had to resume taking it again, but this time I noticed that it was giving me this energy I didn't have before and I'd be hyperactive and at peace with myself... It became my coping mechanism for a while until I ran out of the pills. It was only when I found myself begging for one more pill that I realised that I needed to stop before it was too late... I've heard how addictive it could become and I'm glad I was able to restrain myself while there was still time... So I wish you all the best in fighting the addiction. 152 Likes 5 Shares |

Lol!!!!!! addiction no b child’s play oooo forget any motivational speeches, na only O.Gs wey don dey hook b4 on shit go fit relate but d good news is u are not alone n their is a way out, Take what I am about to say very serious. Any feeling u can’t control is demonic u can do whatever u like wit that information but dis is wat u need to do. Firstly u need to genuinely give ur life to Christ n go on a 3 days dry fast rest for 2days n start again do dis fr one month during ur fast the only thing you should pray for is God should put his own genuine love in ur heart dats all u need to ask for, do dis with all diligence n see ur self becoming a better person than u are right now #peace# 211 Likes 16 Shares |

As it stands, you have to switch this addiction for a less dangerous habit so as to save yourself first then totally stop later 12 Likes 1 Share |

I took that thing once last year. I got a chiseling and piping contract. The pay was not much, so I couldn't hire labourers. But i needed the money. My Chemist friend gave it to me, I couldn't handle the side effects. So I stopped. Coupled with the fact that my cousin bro is battling with that addiction. For the seizure, buy phenobarbitone 30mg and be taking one every night. One tablet is N20 in Pharmacy. Goodluck! 27 Likes 4 Shares |

I congratulate you on your decision to change. Your battle is almost won____but there is still a lot to be done. Now, tramadol is very addictive (which you already know) but it's addiction is easier to stop compared to other terrible opioids. You actually have to fight for 14 days. The truth? It will only be worse on day 2 to day 5. From day 6 to day 14, cravings would have reduced. I guess, you are not working at the moment so stopping it will not he hard. Step 1: Destroy every stash you have, including the hidden ones. Step 2: Buy some apples, lemon, watermelon etc Step 3: Tell your mother your decision to stop it and that in line with this, you will not be leaving the house for the next 7 days. (Accountability is important) Step 4: Get your bible, a notebook and pen. You will use the opportunity to draw close to God, asking for help and strength. Also take the time to reflect o your life and strategies the steps to get your apartment in the next 6 months, get a job, learn a skill and get back your life. Download pictures of your successful class mates, agemates even younger ones for positive anger and motivation. Day 1: By 9 AM, you will feel some craving but it will stop since you took the last day. By afternoon, you will feel a stronger craving. Your head will feel abnormal. There will be anxiety. Zero joy. Bad mood., Anger etc. Just bare. Eat and sleep. Try to eat that food that makes you sleep. Day 2: You will want to take it. Dont fail. Day 3: Will be mild and still terrible. Just try to sleep. if you don't take it, by day 14, craving would have reduced. Withdrawal symptoms mostly gone. At this time it is your discipline and diligence that will help you. Goodluck! If you need to talk to someone when the symptoms become unbearable, just DM. I wont judge you. I have been there before. 111 Likes 14 Shares |

@ topic before I got distracted with cousin and bro, the truth about addiction, any addiction is that if we want to stop something, only us have the power to do so. That willpower comes from within and no one else can boost us. It may hurt loved ones but no one is as hurt as yourself and as they say, you can't give what you don't have. If you don't love YOURSELF, how do you love others ![]() Take care of yourself first. You know when to stop, it's the trigger you are waiting for. Sometimes, it takes the loss of someone for people to wake up but think about it, how do you become sober because someone else died? Doesn't that make you feel guilty even when you stop the addiction? Stand up for yourself in this world, if the rest of the world is not good, try to be that good person and if the world don't care, take care of yourself first. 6 Likes 5 Shares

Go to rehab center where you can be monitor for withdrawal symptoms such as seizure. A team of health professionals can monitor your health and are trained in what to do. After you get released, go for spritual counseling e.g church , mosque and so on. Avoid trigger place such as pharmacy or anywhere they sell drugs. If you are craving the tramadol, try melatonin Who take drugs do not love themselves |

Just stop using everyday. Tm is too small to be addicted to na walahi.. Tm no be drug again na 🤷, Tramadol na crap. Too harsh. Dont use everyday, 1500mg is too much normally na, you wan die. Na because you dey use am everyday na him make your "credit score" high reach 1500mg kiloode... Try to dey use 1 day ON, 2/3 days OFF till your "credit score" reduce. Rinse and repeat. Again, TM is a crappy drug. Like the lowest of the low. Nobody rates a TM addict. 9 Likes |
