Nnamdipapa: What citizen? Ndiigbo don't want to be citizens of same country with the rest of you. Just as Nigeria didn't want to be part of British empire. Association by force is the real witchcraft and hypocrisy. You can't be forcing your dead country called Nigeria down our throats and wonder why we resent both you and the country. Are you for real? 5 Likes |

pazienza: I am Igbo from Nibo in Awka South, Anambra State. I reject Biafra and I want to be a part of Nigeria. There!. It is not only your opinion that counts. There are millions of educated and successful Igbos like myself who want to stay in Nigeria. Your opinion is not greater than mine in Igboland. |

pazienza: Go any Airport and present your Biafra passport then and see how it goes. I am likely discussing with an IPOB who believed Buhari was a closed Jibrin from Sudan. Also, you and your fathers house are likely nobody a in Igboland yet, you carry the matter for head. |

Mbanda: You have a comprehension issue and your illiteracy is not my fault. You would have observed where I attacked anyone who loves one Nigeria while hating people from a section of the country. As a closed-minded tribalist, what would you know? |
Re: Hypocrisy of Tribalism! by gidgiddy: 11:15pm On Jan 28 |
Nnamdipapa: What you are calling country was created by Britain. Eritrea and Ethiopia used to be one country, Eritrea later left Ethiopia. East Timor and Indonesia used to be one country, East Timor later left Indonesia. South Sudan left Sudan It is not must that because you are in one country with some people, it is destined to be so forever. Sometimes, people just want independence from the country they belong to, especially when the were brought together by colonial masters such as Britain 3 Likes |

gidgiddy: That is the history of how the country came to be and I have little interest in that with my article. Every country has its own history . The reality is as at now 2025, Nigeria is a country among others. If you want to agitate for a secession, you are free to do so but not acknowledging Nigeria as a country or bringing up the history of how the country was formed is totally irrelevant. I assumed you went to school right? |

Re: Hypocrisy of Tribalism! by pazienza(m): 12:13am On Jan 29 |
Nnamdipapa: Your opinion is valid but is a minority one in Igboland. Most Igbos have rejected Biafra ( which is a multiethnic Frankenstein monster with Igbo resenting minorities that is doomed for failure), but majority of Igbos still believe we need an independent Igboland separated by national boundaries from Yoruba, North and Minorities. Any Igbo who doesn't see that Unity with North, Yoruba and Minorities in same country will not yield a progressive country is either selfish ( ie his life sustainability is hinged on continued existence of Nigeria) or he is just ignorant of factors at play. 3 Likes |

Nnamdipapa: His point is valid. Nigeria was formed without votes from the people. Bringing up the history of how Nigeria was formed at gunpoint and how its unity can only be enforced by gunpoint too is important and very relevant.. You are the one playing the ostrich. 3 Likes |

Nnamdipapa: here we go again........You cannot eat your cake and have it na! As an Igbo man, I do not hate the idea of Nigeria united by love and respect but I hate the idea of an oppressive and unfair Nigeria, that is what Igbos complain about all the time! What you do for Femi and Ahmed also do it for Emeka ! On the idea of an Igbo man living in Yorubaland and calling for Biafra........well! maybe Nigeria should leave Igboland they occupy unjustly and still fail to develop equally like other regions! na so na! 2 Likes |

Re: Hypocrisy of Tribalism! by GBTYO: 1:17am On Jan 29 |
Nnamdipapa: I wholly support the exit of a pained stiff-necked ingrate people who are of no benefit to even themselves to be booted out of Nigeria You must understand that the IPOB dogs hate me for supporting their false secessionist movement because they know I support their exist not out of altruism but because I hate them . That's how hardcore I am. I want them gone because we both know their Biafra is fake and me wanting it proves how much I detest them. If I was President today I won't even bother granting them any useless referendum. I will have them packing faster than they did in the 1967 Pogrom Olympics. |

Nnamdipapa: Dey play. I am not interested in being president of this Soviet multiculturalism bs. There are more ways to register my tribalism and make it a point of reflection to those hypocrite liars. If anything ,I owe my now redpilled proud tribalistic nature to those crude idiots . Your question should be ; what radicalised you to this extent. And my answer will be based on Newtonian Law of reciprocal reaction. They are the reason I am like this. Maybe if they stopped hating , I will stop hating them back. We are no longer in the pacifist era of turning the other cheek. We have sold our cloak and bought a sword . Tit for tat. Hate begets hate and you are the biggest fool to play devil's advocate for these hate riddled barbarians. |

Nnamdipapa: Canada is working for the citizens, so they might not need to care about the origin. Nigeria is a failure, a disgrace with no remedy. It only makes sense that rational beings want out and questions its formation and sustainability. I'm not a Kanu fan , but Kanu is not your problem. Tinubu, Buhari, APC, are your problem, Nigeria is a problem to Ndiigbo. Nigeria will have to die for Ndiigbo to thrive. 4 Likes |

GBTYO: Why the bitterness? Ndiigbo have nothing in common with your Yoruba people. We reject any union with you, your Muslim brothers up north and your sidekicks down in SS. We want out of the failed British experiment. It doesn't have to breed hate! Like someone already said, Nigeria fought to leave British empire yet many Nigerians are lawful citizens and residents in UK. Wanting a free space with national boundaries free from your Yoruba and other Nigerians doesn't mean we hate you. It means we know that ideologically, we are irreconcilable and can't share a progressive country with you lots.. You all (Minorities, North, Yoruba) deserve each other, while Ndiigbo deserve a break from you all. Perhaps you all deserve a nation without Ndiigbo too, it goes both ways you know. Make all man bear his father's name. Your threats and reverse psychology is like water off the back of the duck for Ndiigbo. We have seen your worst in 1967-70, and have seen even more between 2015 till date. Called 5% by hypocrites filled with Igbophobia who preach unity of oppression and injustice, dot in circle, python dance, next to nothing political representation and appointments by hypocrites who want to build a country in injustice and hate. But you haven't even experienced our revenge yet. Or you think there wouldn't be a pay back? If you continue forcing this dead failed country on Ndiigbo, one day the wheels of power will turn in our favour and you will regret why you share this space with Ndiigbo, you might end up begging for disintegration then yourselves. Nigeria has ran its course. It has failed beyond reasonable doubts. 6 Likes |

GBTYO: Trust me I am fully grown and an Igbo myself. I have lived and related with different people all over the world. True, is is a thing of pride to admire your own tribe and heritage but tribalism to the point of hatred is what I find hard to understand. I have people I hate, don't get me wrong, I will hate because of what they have done to me not because of the tribe they belong. I am not asking you to love the Igbos, just trying to understand your angle and point of view. A lot of my fellow Igbos abuse me everyday here on NL and it does not bother me one bit. |
Re: Hypocrisy of Tribalism! by Nnamdipapa(m): 2:17am On Jan 29 |
pazienza: Was Nigeria working prior to Tinubu? I was so angry with Jonathan's leadership and corruption that I left the country, I was in Nigeria one time during Buharis regime and have not been in since after the last elections. I love for Nigeria to co-exist as one, to work out our differences and find a way to make things work. A working Nigeria will be a major contender on the world stage and I believe it is possible. If we also have to divide, it will have nothing to do with our Nigeria as a country was formed, it will only be because we are too different to coexist in one country but are we telling ourselves the truth here. There are thousands of ethnic groups in the US and things are still working out fine. During the Jonathan regime when lot of Igbos were given position, I did not hear lits of clamouring for a secession. If Obi had won the elections and is the President, would you still want the Igbos to separate? The way you guys are going about it is wrong and will never give Biafra, not today, not in the next 100 years. We will need the co-operation and support of other southerners like the Yobuas to succeed. We have to carry them along and sell the idea to them. We have to market to them the benefits of a divided Nigeria and not continously antagonise and insults them all the time while still living in their regions. We will need a political platform to seceed not this Nzogbu Nzogbu tactics Kanu and his minions are using. I know you may be angry at the situations of the Igbos in Nigeria today but we have to learn to channel our anger intellintly rather than lashing out like a recalcitrant teenagers. Even the SE governors and states are not even united. How do we hope to get Biafra. |
