I just passed TELC B1 Deutsch (German Intermediate level proficiency exam) and I swear that’s the most difficult exam I’ve written in a while. Even more difficult than Tech certification exams like Linux and Cisco.

Makes me realise how difficult picking up a new language.

Kudos to you. Learning officially and learning conversationally is different.. I have never learnt any language professionally as an adult as in to write official documents.

That said, many people think Deutsch is difficult

I’ve met a lot of people here who’ve lived 8 years plus and can’t speak at all. And while Deutsch is difficult as far as language learning goes, it is still a cake walk compared to learning Russian or Chinese.

I been think say as you dey near Mexico, you go dey deep Spanish on those your mentorship trips to Tijuana
