There is always a maximum point one can scale any business before the law of diminishing returns sets in. First, what is the share market value of toilet paper within their covered region?
Then, how much of that share market value can their company alone possibly grab?
You might think they could explore or expand into other places but it not that feasible. Consider the cost of logistics and their margins would drastically shrink.
Remember, we are talking about a bulky item. Transport adds to overhead, that puts them in disadvantage as they wouldn’t be able to compete with other localized companies in the new market.

Your plenty theory is why many run away from business while others are booming. The margin in this business can't be less than 40% and plenty room to scale. How many tissue paper manufacturer do you know in your state?

Nasty, and insensitive comment.

The post was not about her looks, yet that was all you focused on.

In any case, she is beautiful, and I doubt she needs your affirmation.

You say Nay but Dangote sugar, Mama Lemon brand; Lipton tea ; Nescafé; Milo; indomie Noodles brand is selling in Nigeria's 36 states and capital accessible to over 200 million Nigerians . All obstacles in front of a Determined business man can be surmounted
All those item you listed are some worth monopolize goods. There are no equal or better options available. The few ones like the nodules which have alternative, are affected by the same issue I highlighted earlier.
Go to Onitsha and see the different brands of locally produced nodules in their market. Now ask yourself why these brands are not available in a big market place like Lagos. It’s not entirely marketing issue but the cost of logistics in the supply chain.
Do you realize that the transportation of a pack of toilet paper from say Aba to Abuja could double the price per pack?
Who then will buy the expensive one from Aba, when the locally produced one in Abuja is sold without the high transportation cost attached to it?

No Sir. Let that owner employ real workers in every aspect and pay salary first, then we can reevaluate.

In as much as its a good business, its paramount to note hygiene is uttermost attention. If its not registered under Nafdac the business stands a chance of getting folded up due to ignorance of a daughter.

you are not ready for business. Those Aba brands are small brands and big brands can easily swallow them up with economics of scale. Any Aba noodles brand can become a close competitor to the top 2 brands in the country with the right strategy.
----It might involve Upgrading the quality of their noodles to beat available international market standards;
-----studying the competition with large control of the market in all 36states and capital to see what they are doing differently.
----Going Public to up economics of scale and transform from one man sole proprietor business. And setting up factories in key strategic locations in geopolitical and geo economic zones with contracts signed with major distributors in all the 36states and capital.

Any business obstacle can be surmounted by a Determined business man.
Indomie is indomie in the big city and indomie is still indomie in the most isolated village cranny in Nigeria.Nescafe is Nescafé in Abuja. Nescafé is still Nescafé in my village. Just as peak milk rings a bell in every village and local government in all the 36states and capital of Nigeria.

And you see the small mom and dad company being able to do all these you have mentioned?
It not about knowing what to do. Even a roadside Buka Mama Put, knows revenue would skyrocket if they restructure and become like Tantalizers. They are all aware of that. The issue is not usually the willingness or lack of entrepreneurial knowledge. The problem is that most one man small businesses in Nigeria are inherently unscalable, poor access to capital being the major challenge.
You had mentioned going public and I ask, how
easy would it be for this toilet paper manufacturer to be listed on NSE. It’s nearby impossible. It might takes years of consistent growth in geometric proportions.
Even banks would hardly extend credit to them beyond their risk level for amount barely enough for meaningful expansion, but with cut throat interest rate.

This is an ever lasting business.

If they can produce more of this for example....10million of this and their gain per one is 200....that automatically translate to about #2billion naira.

Countless examples abound of kids and grandkids who inherited humble family businesses and turned it around To a billion dollar business .
Even great companies like Steve jobs Apple started in garage of his father's home.

Anything is possible in the hands of a visionary Determined business man . The Sky is the Limit

With the right strategy; Repackaging; Diversification into producing several house hold consumables like Pads; Tampons; Books and Series A & B funding from Appropriate investors; that seemingly small business can become a formidable entity listed on the stock Exchange.
It is not imposible. Even Dangote started as a small scale Trader before venturing expanding into import, manufacturing and Exports. The sky is the Limit

Dangote did not start small. He had said it publicly that his grandfather gave him #500k when a dollar was 0.75 naira. When adjusted for inflation, that could be up to $2m in todays money. Not small amount by any standards.
Even the Steve Jobs you mentioned is in a different environment we’re entrepreneurship is encouraged and supported . In the US, bank loan for small businesses are no big deal . The banks are by law required to give certain loans to qualified small businesses.
Nigeria is quite different. You must have physical assets as collateral to obtain loans because the are no existing credit rating systems.
Determination to succeed alone is not enough to propel a business to the next step. No matter how hard you work, market factors would remain. One man business is hardly scaleable to influence market factors .

A young Nigerian lady has gone viral after sharing how she and her siblings actively support their father's toilet paper business. In the video, she proudly shows off their efforts, stating, "Your Dad owns a tissue factory, so you and your siblings have a job you didn’t apply for." shocked

The heartwarming clip captures them packaging and stacking rolls of toilet paper, highlighting the importance of family involvement in business. Many online users praised their dedication, calling it a great example of teamwork and responsibility.

Reactions flooded the comment section, with some saying they wished they had such a built-in job opportunity, while others humorously noted that being born into the right family sometimes comes with unexpected responsibilities.
