Hi, good evening all. I need help regarding my project that'll be starting in a bit.
I am planning on starting a 2 storey building.
The ground floor has (3) two bedroom flats while the first floor has 3(1 bedroom) and one 3 bedroom flat.
My questions goes to the bricklayers in the house. How much can be charged for the block work and the parapet of the house. The block work excludes the German flooring and decking as those will be given out to another team.
An estimate would be appreciated.

What materials would you recommend for the screeding of the following?
1. Plastered internal walls
2. Plastered external walls
3. Installed POP ceilings (even though the installer claimed it was screeded with POP cement but the surface still looks too rough for my liking).

I'm sure you would have come across my opinion about using cement screeding and it's demerits. I've mentioned it severally here and still did so a few post back.
You can use basecoat for the internal and external screeding but one of good brand or quality with strong bonding.
You may use cement and pop emulsion paint also but with sufficient bond to prevent cracking and peeling later. Also use good primer before painting to reduce excessive paint consumption.
I can't say for pop whether pop cement and emulsion can work but basecoat can give you the light skimming effect on it.

Since you started this project, let me hazard a guess of what has been spent in this building considering the hyperinflation vis a vis the Tinubu & Buhari economic system, l think over 200million Naira don enter the ground of the building , l might be wrong though

The 4th building is also going on right now which made the figure close to 300m so far

The 4th building is full game house for children and adult couples with children swimming pool
