Too much talk talk. As a student in Uk, ain't you suppose to focus on your studies, you presented proof of funds and remaining school fees for embassy. Raising 15k on a 20 hours per week job is not possible. That means you dey go against your visa rule by working more than 20 hours per week. You even come online dey talk am. I pity you.

Make home office no see this video. Nah so una talk talk them cancel dependant visa for masters students. Even if you dey make such money as a student which I doubt, must you come online to broadcast it.

Naija people make we dey use our senses.

Oh, she was a student, now I see.

£15k is nothing in the UK when rent is £1500 per month.

Well, oyibo doesn't psychologically torture, underpay, wilthold slaries or maltreat unskilled workers the way we do in Nigeria. So people can accept such jobs over there with dignity but here, if you accept such jobs in Nigeria, it's not not going to be about your humility - but about your dignity being violated by your very employer. The societal perception of unskilled labor is impacted by employee treatment mostly

Right now, a "company" i have been providing hosting for over the years is dragging payments because according to them, i told them payment is not 200k and they say they are a "small company". I wonder how i would provide a service and get underpaid. One of the very strong reasons i am bent on leaving Nigeria permanently. So let them continue their underpayment strategy with someone else.

That woman is straight out of the bush if she thinks £15k in 12 months in the UK is something to brag about. Once you take into account living expenses it's virtually nothing.

Is this before or after tax and bills? Cos if it is before tax and bills, that money is not much for less than a year in the UK.
Tax cannot be more than 20% which is just £3000. Besides, she said she said she save £15,000 meaning tax deductions have already been made

Some of these employers of labour in Nigeria were once unskilled workers in Europe too. They were treated like human beings while they were there. But here in Nigeria, they are monsters.

Sometimes back, a distant senior cousin of mine who stay overseas decided to establish a business brand in Lagos. He asked me to handle the managerial aspect of the brand. What eventually ended the whole project was the Master-Slave relationship attitude that he developed toward me. Defaulted on many things, and still owes me payments for all the services I rendered to him.

Omoh, I just left.

Such a shame.

Intelligent people that should have been very valuable to the societies in line with their core trainings decided to live a lie, telling themselves that living in a perceived better society means living their best lives.

A trained doctor or engineer going to be a grass cutter and foolishly poting it online with pride, calling it humility.
Gbamsulotely, meanwhile, PBUH to Donald Olawale Chinedu Ibrahim Trump, the Prophet of America according to Nwaikpe, Haha 😂

How many people in UK get 15k cash not to talk of Nigerians. That is a handsome sum of money.

Don't mind her. With such nature of jobs in the UK I can bet she is almost half dead in and out to have earned 15k in few months. Just like you asked did she just compute her gross pay ? Even if that's her net pay; does she leave rent, transport, feeding, meds etc free? Abegi! I am pretty sure she has no more than 3k pounds as savings. Again people like this move from one shift to another, what a life? Just to impress people back home who are by all measures having a better life. UK HMM! UK HMMMM!!

people like that usually stay in shared houses. £450 at most. Their food is strictly fries (chicken and chips) £5. They rarely spent 3 hours at home, they move from 12 hours night shift to 11 hours day shift. It's a sorry tale for anyone trying to save big here in short time especially when you are involved in her kind of jobs. But for Doctors, and I T guys no worries, nurses struggles alot. Engineers are few but highly comfi.

Anyway, if she carry on working like that she would end up sick, when does she have time to relax? How much taxes did she pay? How much bills did she pay?

A few months could also be 9 months. Still not bad. But would require her to work, work, work, work and work no rest.

She need to keep quiet. If they traced her , she will pay tax on the money. Her story was not complete, it is not that easy to raise that money in this country.
