I mean I diversified portfolio.
You're right in your observation.
No one knew those stocks would not move though.
That if they are actually healthy ones

BUACEMENT, NIDF, VFD, ETRANZACT, CONOIL... not all 20 fit the "healthy" criteria.
I do agree with your point, "fundamentally sound" is the key phrase that truly matters.

The oil and gas sector is not a ''wait-and-get'' sector. It is a capital intensive one with long gestation period. It is also a very volatile sector.
The benefits of govt policy decisions may not reflect immediately.
Some of the benefits of what this current government is doing may not reflect now. It may take several years to materialize. Similarly, some of the improvements we see today are not the handiwork of this current govt.
But the most critical instrument of change in the industry has been the PIA. It has attracted more investors to the sector because of the clear operational and legal frameworks e.g. the establishment of regulators NMDPRA, NUPRC, domestic crude obligation, product pricing, industry dispute resolution etc. are guided by the PIA 2021. And these are some of the major factors that attract investments to the sector.

Okay, let's agree you are right. Which major O&G investments did Buhari attract that are now responsible for the improvements today, because all these agencies have been in existence since September 2021, yet O&P dwindled? What about the security situation?

Yes, you are right that security is another big challenge.
I recall some security analysts say that Buhari gave contract to Tompolo to secure the pipelines.
This Tinubu govt is also trying to engage Niger Delta community elders to see how to improve the security situation, which is good.
Don't also forget the effect and impact of COVID-19 some few years back
The truth is the PIA is helping to attract more investments in the oil and gas sector by providing clear guidelines and framework for seamless divestments, acquisitions e.g. Chappal Energies-Equinor, NAOC-Oando, Mobil-Seplat etc.
Many more acquisitions will take place soon because there is better understanding and less confusion in the process due to the guiding framework, incentives, mechanisms in the PIA e.g. Shell - Renaissance Group
The law was even used as an excuse by the current govt to remove oil subsidy; that should tell you how influential it has been for sometime now,

Access Bank also seems attractive at N28.
With GT and Zenith at N50+, Access should be clocking around N40-N45.

Give us what we can buy to make some money (not Oando).
No more prophetic utterances on OANDO again?

Kindly stay connected with ICT stocks.
Cwg
E tranzact
Chams

This bull has been rotating from sector to sector. This time,ICT sector is sighted.
To be conservative, they will deliver 100% from the current prices.

Some people said Etranzact is illiquid. If Golden guinea was able to move from N3 to N8.60 in days,Etranzact will do better.

Crossing the 7 Naira mark, has been the greatest hurdle for ETranzact. If it can break out of the N7.00 region, I see it reaching N10+ very soon.

The market (NGX-ASI) closed on a strong bullish "statement" this week, though yet to break away as Pastor suggested. I think the ending diagonal will depend on the timeframe you are analysing from.

Ideally it's a cup and handle formation on the weekly/monthly but then, the negative divergence

Good observations! -ve divergence, in the face of strong price and volume, will eventually mellow out and cash up with Price & Vol later.

from the angle of TA. banking index looking good to breakout.. I see banking stock likely do very well this quarter.

any idle cash can benefit from this... just look for any of the banking stock that underperforming relative to its peers.

anyway if what I saw on TA is correct, BULL may likely shows in the market as i dont expecting bank to move solo

this post is purely based on TA, may be my eyes is yet to get clear from the hangover stuff. pls consult BullBearMkt for clarification

look like d first quarter is doing good. cool yet again we shouldn't write off the negative divergence as pointed out by oga Agba. next month is crucial. fingers cross

These are very powerful candles, even though 106k has not yet been broken yet, the strength of these candles say a lot, also structurewise, it seems to have printed a (1)(2), (1)(2) sequence which is good bull action and not a triangle structure formation....if we get a decisive break of 106k, then it opens up room easy for wave 3 @ 130k which is 261.8 fib of wave 1 at 54k and that will be around october meaning that we will see a considerably strong Q2 and Q3 for the most part...but i will wait for that break first before any other action..enjoy.

For CHAMS,
I am expecting a wonderful Q1,2,3 and 4 results in 2025.
There are also series of news for expansions in 2025.Some of the news when announced will double the price from its current price.

Lol. N40 may even be conservative. Recall that there was a time last year when FBNH briefly caught up with GTCO? Wait until Ote's fight to recover FBN's money from big time loan defaulters begin to succeed.
