It took me a lot of guts to bring up this matter here because I already know the reactions by majority of Nairalanders. I know I will be lampooned, lambasted, dragged, trolled and insulted. But no problems.

In 2018, I traveled to the village and collected some charms. These are charms for fortification and protection against Bullets, Bottles, knives, and other harmful objects. At the time, I had nobody to speak sense into me. Also I felt I acted on Impulse. When I was given, I was tested. A cutlass was used to cut me but it didn't penetrate. A Dane gun was used to shoot at me but it didn't penetrate. That was the first time I ever experienced this, I thought all these never existed for real.

The thing is more like a community thing, we did it openly. I didn't go to a native doctor elsewhere. It was done right in my community, almost all the youths in that community and clan were fortified so as to help them in time of wars and fights against the Fulani herdsmen who come to attack once in a while. Outsiders are not welcomed.

You have the one u can tie around your waist, your arm, neck, rings for slap and others. There's a particular one that tells u of a impending and imminent danger. I was also given some conditions on how to handle the materials. I witnessed one that disappeared from my room immediately I took it home, I went back to the Native men only to find it there. I was told I allowed a woman on her menstrual flow to enter my room reason it disappeared.

I don't fight, I don't look for troubles and I'm not expecting any trouble, fight or war. I'm not a villager. Also, civilization has made me decide that I want to return them, I don't have any use for them anymore. I was told never to burn or allow any pastor to burn them or dispose them if and when I feel no need for them again. That I should rather return them back so that the necessary things would be done on me. My place is very far, I stay in the North. I need to travel home. I want to serve my God now. Even if I don't serve God, I don't see the need for all these. What if I want to get married and my woman sees these charms? I know Politicians do same, but I am not a politician. I need Help

Coming clean is good but we don’t know you in person, so get rid of those charms if you want to and make sure you visit the nearest religious/worship center to declare yourself free of anything fetish.

Good luck

Why can't a pastor burn it?

Is it normal for anyone to return those charms and get themselves?

The devil does nothing for free, gives nothing for free, it's just that you may not know the cost of it.

But I can introduce you to Jesus who will lead you to God and tell you the cost of following Jesus. And when you meet Jesus, you said those charms can return by themselves, look who Jesus sets free is free indeed.

Once you have an encounter with Jesus they will leave you themselves because He that is greater and stronger as come, true fortifications nullifies those charms. You can also try it and see.

This reminds me of "Chike and the river", when Chike was stranded in asaba. A man said it's easy to go to asaba, but to leave asaba...

You have given them access already to your bloodline through those rituals. Only the blood of Jesus can set you free. For now, visit a believing ministry of God. People who know the word and are truly annointed with evidence. Go to them with those charms, they will tell you what to do and those charms need to be burnt to secure your total deliverance in experience. Don't return back to your village to see any native doctor. Where do you stay?

Do what you agreed to do. It's respecting yourself and others who gave you their prized possession out of love.

They value those items highly because of what it took for them to prepare them hence the reason they asked you to return them when you no longer them.

So , return to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and have a free conscience.

It is only God that can deliver you from the bondage of the devilish charms. You need to belong to a Bible believing church. You could meet the head of your Church privately for counselling and deliverance

If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour, don't bother returning the charms because you're not under divine protection YET. You seem to still be double minded and in that case, you are not convinced or sold out for Jesus yet. You're either for Christ or you're not! There's no middle ground. If you want to face Christ, face Him, if you want to follow satan, continue but know that nothing good comes from the devil. He will take back from you 100 fold of anything he gives you.

First thing you need to do is, pray with a sincere heart and ask God to open your eyes, that you really want to follow Him. Keep praying until you get an answer to your prayers.

100% fiction

I think I've cracked the code on how to identify fictional stories on Nairaland.

OP, if e sure you say your story dey legit, let's go one corner make I question you so you provide evidence of all these including naming that your village so I'll go there myself and ask the veracity of your claims.
