It would be interesting to see his style in the PL. He’s very aggressive but this Chelsea squad will make crap of that style.

Maresca is the reason why everyone is looking average at the same time. His system hides player's strength and exposes their weaknesses.

Imagine using Gusto as almost a midfielder when his biggest attribute is his ability to bomb up and down the flank with his energetic runs.

Who is their right senses sees Enzo as a box to box midfielder? Enzo whose attacking success rate is less than a heavily pregnant lion. His biggest ability is his press resistance and passing which makes him a CM. But Maresca prefers he makes non threatening runs into opposition box while leaving Caicedo utterly exposed during quick transitions.

Maresca, the only coach who believes Palmer is best suited as a deep lying playmaker like he is some sort of Fabregas or Pirlo. He has effectively reduced his impact and adding another work load on Caicedo.

Sancho and Neto are different type of wingers whose Maresca system don't favor. Sancho, lazy and slow and can't face full backs one V one. Neto fast and energetic but poor dribbler and can't trick any full back so he relies on speed and crosses. Because our full backs don't attack, our wingers are forced to stay very wide and don't invert to cause overload in the box.

Maresca is a stubborn goat who sticks to his tactics even when he has been found out, reason he nearly bottled the championship. He should be sacked and forced to forfeit all bonuses accruing to him.
